Well the Actifit app on my phone doesn't want to play and keeps shutting down when I try to write a post - oh well, at least my running continues to progress as I head towards the New Year and another ultramarathon.
Yesterday was an easier day as I was only able to run about 4 miles after our family day trip up to Flagstaff. At least Lulu and I enjoyed a short hike around the Buffalo Park under clear and beautiful blue skies with Humphreys Peak as a backdrop. Too bad it gets so cold up there at altitude (7000 feet and above) as I wouldn't mind living there or spending seasons volunteering.
Today my run started off with 3 miles around our morning walk course before heading up into the easy hills nearby. Those first miles were easy and not to shabby as my legs weren't too tired. I did slow a bit on the half mile ascent but after that it was a mid 9 minute pace for an overall 7 and a half miles.
A good day and a nice sign that my running intensity is good.

My actifit shutdowns if I try to upload a big photo, screen shooting it seems to fix my issues.
