Yes, this is one thing I like about Lead Tree is that the roots really get large quickly. That translates to a thick tree base in a vary short time.

This is one of the first trees I used a rock binding method. Using "Jute", wrap the bare roots onto the rock, as you want then and then tie them to the rock with the Jute. (wrap the roots onto the rock with the Jute string) The roots are held nicely in position while you are repotting. With in a couple of months the Jute will begin to rot and have no affect on the tree.
