Week 49 comes skipping along just like that. There is loads going on in my work and home life, so the weeks are flowing by like a torrent.
Here at Three Tune Tuesday we are adding New posters and retaining our core of regulars which is fantastic. It's heartening to see the crew growing each week.
Weekly, I try to find an hour or two to listen to all of the fantastic music shared from like-minded folk from around the globe. This has lead me to genres I don't know well and to some amazing new bands and artists and has even introduced me to some musical instruments I did not know existed.
This week I am going to go with a theme again. This week's theme is Mums, Mamas, Mams and Mothers.
I hope you enjoy the tunes - be sure to tell me all about it in the comments below and above all else, please enjoy the rest of your Tuesday - smile at a stranger, rub a dog, be a nice human to someone who was not expecting it - peace out.
For those unfamiliar with TTT or Three Tune Tuesday....
The jist is as follows
Every Tuesday I'm going to share 3 songs which I like to listen to and I invite your feedback in the comments below. Better still, why not have a blast of your own Three Tune Tuesday and mention me in the post and I'll come and find the post and upvote it. If you could also use #ttt or #threetunetuesday tags that would be great. It'll be a sweet way for us all to discover new music. You'll also be in with a chance of winning the prize - more on that later.
Here are my week forty eight recommendations for Three Tune Tuesday
** Drum roll please.....**
Pink Floyd - Mother
From the wonderful double album The Wall, one of my favourite albums of all time by Pink Floyd. It's one of the less known songs from this cult classic album. I love this song on the original studio album, but this live version is even better with Waters, Gilmour and co in full flow.
2Pac - Dear Mama
Rap might not be everybody's cup of tea, but I love lyrics and music on general and Rap is just another genre I listen to and respect, especially some of the older stuff like 2Pac, Wutang Clan, Gangstarr and the like.
Here is a song that 2Pac wrote about his Mama.
The Beatles - Let It Be
Let it be was written by Pauk McCartney about his Mother Mary. It is the title track of The Beatles' final album by the same name Let It Be.
McCartney's Mother died of cancer when he was just 14 years old and a dream abous his mother allegedly inspired him to write this classic song.
ThreeTune Spotify Playlist
Our good friend and regular Three Tune Tuesday poster @blackdaisyft adds the ThreeTuneTuesday songs to an ever increasing Spotify playlist occasionally when time allows. You can check them out here:

Classics my friend. I was doing a bit of Karaoke on Friday night, was belting out a few classics myself, totally embracing my inner rock star, even done a punk version of Let It Be, if you can imagine that lol xxx
No way!! Jesus, can't remember the last time I had a crack at Karaoke. It would be a great way to clear a bar!
I can totally imagine you rocking out a punk version of Let It Be 🤟🎼👏
BRUUUUH!! @ablaze soon as I saw momma as a theme I was lik, GOT IT, and then came @ablaze with a suitcase and a song... THX A LOT!!! I have thought off and I what I was going to post through out the week. And they are good!!! Then.... I forgot. Like a gold fish my memory is!!!

All good this side kid, breathing and alive and sure isn't that fantastic! I'm more of a Mojito man when it comes to cocktails, but mainly pints of Guinness and IPAs are my drinks of choice, what about you, what's your go to?
FYI, for TTT, you can post any day you want, obviously Tuesday is optimal, but any day is cool, the first rule of TTT club is there are no rules, well except to keep it three tunes where possible!
BWAHAHAHAHA I the first rule was don't talk about TTT, LOL. My day beer drinkin beer is coors light. Cheap enough for me to chill and drink with an occasional margarita. But this beer his has become a fave of mine.
This is an IPA. From a brewery not far from me. I have tied a many of selection of theirs and I liked a bunch. Funny thing about IPAs. I started drinking them around 10 years ago because, well the flavor really. But I would go to some poker games and parties with a 12 or 18 pk of whatever and those would quickly disappear. I said well fk it lets see what happens with the IPAs. SURE NUF @ablaze by the end of the night I would still have a cpl beers left!!! So this was my introduction to regular ipa beer searchin and adrinkin!!

I like the look of that beer man, the beer art is sweet and I'm sure the taste is bangin. IPAs aare around twice as expensive here in Ireland as standard Heineken/Bud/Carlsberg/Corona/Peronni etc, but for me it's worth it for a few reasons. I love the hoppy flavours, the variety of different local beers, and the thought of supporting a local enterprise instead of a massive multinational.
REVEREND!!!
Love that all three are classics and from such different genres! My vote is the Tupac track - Im a rap lover to the dismay of many of my friends...:)
Ah you're a Rap man too? Ya, I like my rap, I must say. Like anything there is plenty of shite out there, but plenty of genius also.
Dam right, some classics right there. I still have a tupac CD lol
Keep rockin Blaze. The torrent definitely moves, we gotta slow it down bro
Ya man, the torrent gets quicker with each passing year, but you have got to enjoy the calm waters of holidays, time with family, nature etc when you can.
I prefer Dark Side of The Moon to The Wall I think. Awesome songs, and now I was listening to rap all afternoon haha
Ha ha nice one, I love a bit of rap, which reminds me I must do a few rap Three Tune Tuesdays one of these days to share the vibes. Ya Dark Side of the Moon is a genius album also, I'd find it hard to pick between the two albums, and it might change from year to year, but those two are certainly my favorites and Wish You Were Here is unreal two, coming in a close third...
oh yeah Wishe You Were Here is pretty cool too!
Yes there does need to be some rap in ttt, I might drop a trio in one tuesday!
