Wow, I can't believe that I am about to start penning my 100th edition of Three Tune Tuesday. I always wanted it to grow, so that I could expand my musical knowledge, but I never believed that it would flower into what it has become. Some of my best friendships on Hive came about through #ttt and we are attracting new and old faces every single week. The quality of the posts and the tunes and people's beautiful honesty always astounds me and I am privileged to listen and read every week. Thank you to every one of you that makes Three Tune Tuesday what it is and a special thanks to the nine Three Tune Tuesday sponsors, you are all legends! Onwards we go.

That's right, it's Tuesday folks and for our merry little band of ladies and lads, that means sharing tunes, good vibes and engagement. As another week disappears in the rearview mirror, we have loads of engagement and tunes flying around on Three Tune Tuesday and sure isn't that bloody fantastic! I hope you're ready to share three tunes from wherever you find yourself on this magical spinning lump of rock that we all call home and sure you might even sing us a tune if we're lucky?

It's a time of the week when lovers of music, tunes and craic bring their blockchain community three of their finest and brightest tunes to share and celebrate, so let's roll on and let the tunes flow free.

This is my 100th week waxing lyrical for Three Tune Tuesday and we are still going strong.

It started off with me just sharing tunes into what seemed like a void, but little by little others joined and now I'm thrilled that we have a little corner of Hive where we come and share our tunes every Tuesday, and long may it continue. I almost stopped posting the songs and thoughts a few times, but I stuck with it and now interestingly it is my favorite thing about Hive. I love music and now I have a network of folks around the world who love music too and we share our tunes and catch up with each others tunes and discuss them each week. We get Pop, Metal, Rock, Gospel, Folk, Jazz, Rap, Hip-Hop, Trip-Hop, Reggae, Bippy bappidy Flange Hop. Ok I made that one up, but you get the idea, we are all learning about new artists, bands, back stories and sure isn't it just mighty!

Something that excites me the most is that we even get musicians sharing their covers of famous songs and even their own songs from time to time here on #ThreeTuneTuesday, which is a real favorite of mine, as that takes talent, time and dedication.

We are adding New posters and retaining our core of regulars here on #TTT which is fantastic. Let's keep it growing. Weekly, I try to find four to six hours to listen to all of the fantastic music shared from like-minded folk from around the globe and interact with their posts. This has led me to genres I don't know well and to some amazing new bands and artists and has even introduced me to some musical instruments I did not know existed. It also allows me to upvote smaller accounts and find some really interesting people from all over the world, which is heartening.

I hope you enjoy the tunes - be sure to tell me all about it in the comments below and above all else, please enjoy the rest of your Tuesday - smile at a stranger, rub a dog, be a nice human to someone who was not expecting it - peace out.

For those unfamiliar with TTT or Three Tune Tuesday....

The jist is as follows

Every Tuesday I'm going to share 3 songs which I like to listen to and I invite your feedback in the comments below. Better still, why not have a blast of your own Three Tune Tuesday and mention me in the post and I'll come and find the post and upvote it. If you could also use #threetunetuesday tag that would be great, as that is what I use when sifting through all the entries every Wednesday. It'll be a sweet way for us all to discover new music. You'll also be in with a chance of winning the prize - more on that later.

Here are my week one hundred recommendations for Three Tune Tuesday

** Drum roll please.....**

This week is a special one, given that we are in week 100. I'll say that again, we are in week ONE HUNDRED! Nuts, but so sweet. I was racking my brain wondering what to use as my inspiration for this week, then it came to me. I am going to pick three stand out tunes that were introduced to me via Three Tune Tuesday over the past 99 weeks, sorry I have not listened to any week 100 ones yet, that usually doesn't happen until the weekend a the earliest, with me trying to get them all listened to on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday before publishing the Three Tune Tuner of the week winner.

The tunes that stand out may well be all fairly recent ones, as they are fresher in my head, but there have been tonnes of good ones over the past two years. Let's get started with this absolute beaut of a song, since hearing here on Three Tune Tuesday, I reckon I have easily listened to it 100 times, there is just something very special about it, so hear goes, it is Mr. Bojangles by Sammy Davis Junior.

I love a song that tells a story and this one certainly tells a story, just listen along, and then play it again, and again, and again.

Ray LaMontagne - Jolene

This is another one that I loved on first listen and again listened to it many times in the following few weeks. I remember that it was @stickupboys who shared this one with me, so a doff of my hat to you for this great ear worm lads. I must check out more of Ray's stuff, as it is likely well worth checking out of this song is anything to go by.

Khruangbin - Maria También

This one was introduced to me by the bhoyo from Tipperary here in Ireland, who always has good tunes, anecdotes and a bit of craic to add to the conversation, and lots of his tunes make it into my playlists on Spotify, so thanks for that auld stock.

Khruangbin were a great discovery and instead of sharing an audio only sample like I did for the other tunes, I opted for a video here so I could show you @blanchy's huge crush who is playing the Bass here, if memory serves, he also has a bit of man crush on the drummer for his kick ass drumming prowess. You'll enjoy this one folks if you have not heard it before.

HBI contest - win 10HBI

Share your Three Tune Tuesday songs below or create a post with #ttt or #threetunetuesday and mention me so I can find the post.

I'll pick the three songs I enjoyed the most each week as the winner and transfer 1 share of HBI to the winner when this post pays out 7 days from now, but wait there's more...

Three Tune Tuesday Sponsors

My old pal and brother from another mother @blanchy started a trend and now also commits a share of HBI each week and so have seven other Three Tune legends @blackdaisyft @hannes-stoffel @tengolotodo @inthenow @wwwiebe @grindan @jasperdick and @dbooster so now the winner will receive ten shares of HBI, not too shabby at all folks.

Special thanks to @dbooster who joins this week meaning that week 100 will reward somebody with 10 shares of HBI, not too shabby at all folks!

Thanks a million to our sponsors above once again.

Best of luck!

Sin é, That's all folks, thanks for stopping by.

That's it for another week. Those are your three songs for week one hundred. Let me know what you think - good, bad or indifferent? Did you like them all or just one or two?

Also, as I said before, I love getting good steers for new tunes, so please tell me about the latest and greatest from your playlist below and I'll be sure to check em out.

The YouTube videos shared are not owned by me and I am simply sharing great music with the community here on Hive

Thanks as always for stopping by everyone.

Peace Out

Ha ha, old man is right! Funny cause it's true! It sounds like your mother in law has good taste

Nice one @ablaze . Love the tunes by the way. I'm a big of all three songs there. Our musical taste has synced like women's periods when they pal around together for a long time.

Serious amount of tunes alright!!!

Wow! 100th week for #ttt.... that is a big milestone and for being consistent which also brought a lot of people to come share their songs with us.
I also love songs that tell a story, just like the one I recommended by Bradon Lake, I love the story he talked about himself and encountering Jesus early enough.

I love this vibe in this song, Khruangbin - Maria También..... especially the multicolour lady playing the guitar and adding some amazing steps too.

Thanks a million, really appreciate it and it always great to hear you taking part in #ttt. You are probably in top 10 of most posts

Okay, I think I've got a crush on Khruangbin's bassist as well, now.

Mr. Bojangles is such a great song. It always manages to evoke multiple emotions, doesn't it? Storytelling songs are the best for that.

Definitely, such a fantastic song. I can't believe it's only a recent addition to my playlists.
