Tambor Redondo de Barlovento (culo e' Puya) Cantos & Ritmos Afrovenezolanos - Ensamble B11
Están formados por cuerpo Cilindrico de madera de Lano vaciado en forma de Reloj de Arena con un orificio en la mitad que mejora su sonoridad, ambos extremos están parchados por cuero de venado o pereza los cuales están sujetados con ataduras de Guaral, son ejecutados apoyados en el suelo y en la entrepierna con palitos, y las manos.
Estos tambores están identificados como Prima, Cruzao y Pujao
Prima: Tambor Redondo más pequeño y de timbre muy agudo
Cruzao: Tambor Redondo mediano y de timbre medio
Pujao ó Macho: Tambor redondo grande y de timbre grave (También le llaman repicador)

The Barlovento drum called "Culo e puya" or in its variety round drum. They are 3 percussion instruments located in the region of Miranda State, in the town of Barlovento, these drums are offered to San Juan to honor them on their day on June 24.
They are formed by a cylindrical body of Lano wood emptied in the shape of an hourglass with a hole in the middle that improves its sonority, both ends are patched with deer or lazy leather which are fastened with Guaral ties, they are played supported on the ground and in the crotch with sticks, and hands.
These drums are identified as Prima, Cruzao and Pujao.
Prima: Round drum, smaller and with a very sharp timbre.
Cruzao: Medium round drum with medium timbre.
Pujao or Macho: Large round drum with a deep timbre (also called "repicador").
Ésta vez el Ensamble B11 traemos con mucha creatividad, cariño e innovación un poco de lo que se hace en el pueblo de curiepe y de sectores de Barlovento, que en cada pueblo tiene su forma de tocar, y nosotros traemos exactamente del pueblo de Curiepe, acercandonos lo más parecido a lo que ellos ejecutan, tratando de emular lo que ellos cuidan como Cultura con cantos y Bailes.

This time the Ensamble B11 brings with much creativity, love and innovation a little of what is done in the town of Curiepe and sectors of Barlovento, which in each town has its own way of playing, and we bring exactly from the town of Curiepe, approaching the closest to what they perform, trying to emulate what they care as culture with songs and dances.
