We are a reggae music unit from Medan, Broderhood.
In this uncertain situation during this pandemic, we received suggestions from friends to join the Hive platform as an option to voice our work. Last August we released a song that raised the issue of endangered animals and the environment as our shelter.
Human awareness about the balance of nature and the environment is important. Through the single "Save the Sumatran Rhino", we brought an alternative composition of reggae with the infusion of social awareness about how crucial the balance of the universe is. Dominated by a light melody from the guitar, this track is so simple but straightforward through the lyrics to voice the idea behind this song.
We took a role through art by composing the song Save the Sumatran Rhinoceros. There is hope that this song can be brainstorming for those who listen so that they are wiser to live side by side with nature, others, and other living creatures.
We dedicate this song to one of the endangered animals, namely the Sumatran Rhino, which is currently on the verge of extinction like other species. Tigers, orangutans, elephants, and other animals are often brought up in the media. Many factors influence extinction. Some of these factors such as land clearing and forest encroachment that seem uncontrollable, as well as rampant poaching, especially this rare species to satisfy human lust.
