Muchos conocedores en la materia afirman el efecto positivo que tiene la música en cada etapa de nuestra vida, y como su influencia redunda en nuestro bienestar mental y emocional. Sea cual sea nuestra realidad, muchos de nosotros experimentamos una bonita infancia gracias a las canciones que formaron parte de nuestro crecimiento, y no es tan difícil evocar esos grupos y canciones que no podían faltar en cualquier fiesta infantil.
Many connoisseurs in the field affirm the positive effect that music has in every stage of our lives, and how its influence redounds in our mental and emotional well-being. Whatever our reality, many of us experienced a beautiful childhood thanks to the songs that were part of our growing up, and it is not so difficult to evoke those groups and songs that could not be missing in any children's party.
En este punto, no solo quiero mencionar a un grupo de música infantil sino que también deseo profundizar un poco en el sentido que tenían la letra de esas canciones para ese entonces, algo tan intelectual y a la vez tan atrayente, captando la atención de un público bastante difícil de complacer como es el caso de los niños. Si hablamos de tiempo, la década de los ochenta y los noventa fue un espacio de fiesta infantil muy atractivo, gracias a la presencia de un grupo conocido como las payasitas Nifú Nifá.
Nadie puede cuestionar la calidad de este grupo musical que supo entretener y alegrar la infancia de los que hoy miramos al pasado con sentimiento y nostalgia. Debo admitir que como niño nunca me gustaban las fiestas en las que todo era canciones infantiles de muñecos y payasitas, pero era imposible asistir a una fiesta y no escuchar los temas de las payasitas Nifú Nifá. Tengo entendido que hasta para los que tenían las posibilidades las llegaban a contratar para cualquier celebración, lo cual era un verdadero evento tanto para grandes como para chicos.
Precisamente uno de sus temas más sonados y conocidos fue el que me inspiró a escribir dicha publicación, canción que hace poco escuché en un programa de radio donde suelen colocar temas musicales del pasado. La canción es “Ki Ki Ki Co Co Có”. ¿La conoces? Pues si es así, bienvenido nuevamente a tu infancia , y si no, pues de seguro llamará tu curiosidad y más si ya tienes hijos. Confieso que cuando la escuché no pude evitar reírme, pero después me puse a prestarle más de la debida atención a la letra, y mi sorpresa fue mayor.
At this point, I not only want to mention a group of children's music but I also want to delve a little deeper into the meaning that the lyrics of those songs had at that time, something so intellectual and at the same time so attractive, capturing the attention of an audience quite difficult to please as it is the case of children. If we talk about time, the decade of the eighties and nineties was a very attractive space for children's parties, thanks to the presence of a group known as the little clowns Nifú Nifá.
No one can question the quality of this musical group that knew how to entertain and brighten the childhood of those of us who today look back with feeling and nostalgia. I must admit that as a child I never liked parties that were all about children's songs with dolls and clowns, but it was impossible to attend a party and not listen to the songs of the Nifú Nifá clowns. I understand that even for those who had the possibilities, they used to hire them for any celebration, which was a real event for both adults and children.
Precisely one of his most famous and well-known songs was the one that inspired me to write this publication, a song that I recently heard on a radio program where they usually play songs from the past. The song is "Ki Ki Ki Ki Co Co Có". Do you know it? Well, if so, welcome back to your childhood, and if not, it will surely call your curiosity and even more if you already have children. I confess that when I heard it I couldn't help but laugh, but then I paid more than due attention to the lyrics, and my surprise was even greater.
Creo que nunca había meditado en la clase de mensaje que transmite dicho tema. Parece una mezcla de trabalenguas bastante razonable, algo que con el ritmo musical se escucha muy atractivo. Creo que muchas personas hasta le hacen una especie de coreografía, propia de la misma música, lo cual la hace más especial de lo que ya es. Siendo honestos, como niños lo menos que pensamos es en el sentido de la letra de alguna canción y menos si estamos en una fiesta, pero lo cierto es que este grupo musical tenían esa mezcla ideal para alegrar y entretener a los niños.
Pero no solo es ese tema, sino que cuando revisamos la lista de canciones interpretadas por este grupo notamos que el sentido de las mismas no carece de sentido, más bien pienso que tiene demasiado como para que los mismos niños la comprendan. Incluso si nos ponemos muy detallistas, notamos que hay canciones que parecen estar muy por encima del entendimiento que puede tener un niño de tres o cuatro años. Lo más sorprendente de esto es que detrás de todas esas canciones hay un rotundo éxito que aún en nuestros tiempos las mantiene en el top favoritos de muchos abuelos, padres y otros adultos a la hora de alegrar cualquier celebración infantil.
I don't think I've ever thought about what kind of message this song conveys. It seems like a pretty reasonable mix of tongue twisters, something that with the musical rhythm sounds very appealing. I think a lot of people even choreograph a kind of choreography to it, proper to the music itself, which makes it even more special than it already is. To be honest, as children the least we think about is the meaning of the lyrics of a song and less if we are at a party, but the truth is that this musical group had that ideal mix to cheer up and entertain children.
But it is not only that issue, but when we review the list of songs performed by this group we notice that the sense of them is not meaningless, rather I think it has too much for the children themselves understand it. Even if we get very detailed, we notice that there are songs that seem to be far beyond the understanding of a three or four year old child. The most surprising thing about this is that behind all these songs there is a resounding success that even in our times keeps them in the top favorites of many grandparents, parents and other adults when it comes to brighten up any children's celebration.
Canciones como “Regálame tu foto”, “Alibombo”, “Sana, sana, colita de rana”, son tan solo unos de los temas más famosos con los que este grupo se dio a conocer, ganándose el corazón de los niños y también el de los adultos que en cada fiesta disfrutaban de estos grandiosos temas. Recuerdo que en aquellos tiempos, los grupos musicales infantiles eran muchos y de calidad destacable, pero las payasitas Nifú Nifá se ganaron una reputación que hasta el presente las precede de manera única y sinigual.
¿Qué tan especial puede ser una experiencia como esta para un niño? Bueno, yo tuve una compañera de clases en el liceo a quien le gustaba mucho bailar, y no sentía temor o pena alguna para hacerlo. Cierto día nos comentó que en una ocasión su mamá le regaló una entrada a un evento musical en donde conoció a las payasitas Nifú Nifá. Ella recuerda que en una canción la halaron hacia el escenario para que con otros niños bailarán con las payasitas, y eso fue un momento que marcó su infancia de manera notable. Expresó sentirse como toda una artista bailando y cantando al lado de las payasitas.
He sabido que aún en esas fiestas retro que organizan en algunos lugares públicos, los temas de las payasitas Nifú Nifá dicen presente con total autoridad que rememora la infancia de los presentes, algunos hasta sin pena de cantar y bailar tal como siendo niños lo llegaron a hacer. Dentro de esas décadas donde la música en general tuvo un nivel sublime, hasta la música infantil tuvo en este grupo musical un representante digno y a la altura de la época, dejando una huella infantil imborrable en el corazón de muchos.

How special can such an experience be for a child? Well, I had a classmate in high school who loved to dance, and she was not afraid or embarrassed to do so. One day she told us that her mother once gave her a ticket to a musical event where she met the Nifú Nifá clowns. She remembers that during one song she was pulled onto the stage so that she and other children could dance with the clowns, and that was a moment that marked her childhood in a remarkable way. She said she felt like an artist dancing and singing with the clowns.
I have known that even in those retro parties organized in some public places, the songs of the little clowns Nifú Nifá say present with total authority that recalls the childhood of those present, some even without shame to sing and dance as they did when they were children. Within those decades where music in general had a sublime level, even children's music had in this musical group a worthy representative and at the height of the time, leaving an indelible mark in the hearts of many children.

Que recuerdos tan hermosos 🥹 es una lastima que en esta época la mayoría de los padres no deseen colocar canciones infantiles a sus hijos, como docente de música de preescolar y 1ero y segundo grado es evidente que los niños están ajenos a las canciones que deben ser para su edad, en cambio se saben la mayoría de canciones que son para adultos y es cuesta arriba tratar de hacer que se interesen en canciones para su edad.

La realidad de este asunto es tal cual como lo describes a través de tu comentario. Yo recuerdo que antes con tan solo escuchar la música en alguna fiesta ya te permitía saber si era de adultos o de niños. Además, aquellas canciones no solo alegraban el momento sino que transmitían una sana enseñanza, algo que lamentablemente hoy brilla por su ausencia.
