Ive never been to Ireland , I live in Fife on the east coast of Scotland .I think there are some pubs here that would sing the chorus to this one its pretty well known, there is every chance some old fellas would buy me a drink for playing these old folk songs .In pubs in Ireland id say its more likely. If I ever get rich I will visit Dublin , Im told its as expensive as London and London aint no joke in terms of costliness these days.

Well you need about R17 (South African Rand) to buy a dollar... and the Euros and Pounds are even more, so we really have to fork out to go anywhere - Fife or Dublin!
