Study #11 is divided into two parts. The first part is for arpeggios. It's a very powerful section.

The second part is a son. It's a study that pays homage to this Cuban musical genre. It's a very expressive study.

At the end of the piece, it returns to the first part.

It's a very contrasting study. This is characteristic of Maestro Leo Brouwer's work: he contrasts the character of the piece with its lyricism.

El estudio #11 es un estudio que se divide en dos partes. La primera es para los arpegios. Es una parte de gran fuerza.
La segunda parte es un son. Es un estudio que hace homenaje a este género musical cubano. Es un estudio muy expresivo.
Al final de la obra regresa a la primera parte.
Es un estudio muy contrastante. Esto es algo característico en la obra del Maestro Leo Brouwer: contrasta el carácter de la obra con el lirismo.
