Por ello, me costaría mucho hacer un post dedicado a un EP, a menos que este sea particularmente significativo. Este año han sido lanzados varios EPs increíbles, especialmente en el mundo de la música electrónica y del pop. Por eso, hoy quiero recomendarles algunos EPs que han sido estrenados los últimos meses, espero encuentren alguno de su gusto, ¡vamos allá!

Generally, EPs tend to have a more discreet and smaller release than albums. They tend to be short and punchy. There have been several incredible EPs released this year, especially in the world of electronic and pop music. COBRAH - "COBRAH"
Comenzamos con el segundo EP de una artista perteneciente a la pequeñísima escena actual del hip house. COBRAH es un artista, rapera y cantante sueca que emergió en el mundo de la música por el 2018. Pertenece a una movida underground de "clubes fetichistas" y generalmente se le conoce no solo por su música, si no por ser una figura representativa en dicho mundo. El hip house es un género que desde hace varias décadas dejó de ser cultivado activamente, excepto por algunos artistas que, una que otra vez, acuñaban el género a sus canciones, pero son poquísimos los que aún se dedican a hacer principalmente este género. Sus letras están llenas de carga sexual y su performance es también bastante sensual. COBRAH rapea sobre los beats con una fluidez espectacular y con una voz y entonación sumamente sugerente. YUKIKA - "Timeabout"

Tras el lanzamiento de dicho disco, YUKIKA cambió de sello discográfico y eso no afectó su estilo en lo más mínimo. Timeabout sigue siendo un disco con una producción espectacular, todos los recursos electrónicos complementan a la perfección el estilo "jazzy" de YUKIKA, dándole una calidad futurística, la cual se acopla a la perfección con el concepto de los viajes en el tiempo, el cual está presentado como un tema en este EP. Timeabout is still an album with a spectacular production, all the electronic resources perfectly complement YUKIKA's jazzy style, giving it a futuristic quality, which fits perfectly with the concept of time travel, which is presented as a theme in this EP. One of the best additions that could be made to the current movement to revive 80s music.
Doss - "4 New Hit Songs"
Este EP pertenece a una especie de nicho bastante pequeño que se mantiene vivo principalmente por audiencias en foros de música y comunidades dedicadas a la música en general. Doss es una figura de la que se tiene poca información. Se sabe que es una chica y que es de Nueva York. Su trayectoria es sumamente corta y solamente tiene un par de EPs en su haber, además de algunos remixes. Su primer EP fue lanzado en el 2014 y no lanzó ninguna canción original suya hasta este año. Doss se dedica a la música electrónica, especialmente a producir derivados del trance y el house. Kero Kero Bonito - "Civilisation II"
Kero Kero Bonito es un grupo que ha evolucionado increíblemente con el pasar del tiempo. Ecco2k - "PXE"
Existe todo un mundo dentro del universo que existe en la escena del cloud rap. Irónicamente, este EP está lejos de ser de este género, pero permítanme explicarme. Ecco2K es un artista, cantante y diseñador perteneciente a la Drain Gang. Uno de los colectivos más importantes de la escena del cloud rap, el cual tiene una comunidad enorme que lo cultiva en la plataforma musical SoundCloud.
