Earlier this evening my son came to me: "Dad, can I ask you something? Can you put Perfect on my phone, please?"

I said: "Of course, my dear!"

And so I did put it. My son's favorite song these days.

It coincides perfectly with the first snow of the winter today and our love for the outdoors, skiing, and snowboarding.

It also resonates with our love for melody and harmony.

Sometimes I feel soooo out of touch with what music is popular these days. Though I know Ed Sheeran as a name for a long time, today is maybe the first time I've listened a complete track/song of his. Must say, the original is ok, I get why Ed Sheeran is popular. The version with Andrea Bocelli I like better; Transforms a more or less standard song/vibe into something more interesting. I do like the mix different styles of music which helps to appreciate this one :)

The snow in the original version video makes me a bit sad to be honest. Used to ski a lot years ago and like to pick it up again, but 2020 will for sure not the year I'll return to the slopes since most countries with mountains I used to go to, will not open for all of us this year (and early next year).

In the main team, we shall njoy this last month of the year as much as we can, and as I tend to say mostly: Without Limits :)

I feel with you about popular music. It's all the same with me. I can't tell one song and singer from the other. At least Sheeran has a distinct sound and stands above others in quality.

I feel with you about the skiing this season too. We have 15 centimeters of fresh snow in the city. Loads of snow in the mountains. Yet, we are not allowed to go there. Austria will open ski slopes on December 24th and has put restrictions on foreign visitors... We should find our own hill to ski on.

Let's hope for the best. After all, our personal happiness is our own choice.

Sooo true! :) And you know what: Happiness doesnt require skiiing at all. Simply enjoying the little things in life, supporting those we love, and realising we have it all, should be enough :)
