I'm a vintage guy at heart, which means I stick to vintage gear.
Featuring a 1972 Slingerland 14x7 Chrome-over-Brass snare, tracked through vintage Neumann and Telefunken preamps—because that's just how the cookie crumbles.
Jokes aside, I hope you enjoy this simple, deep groove.
Groove will save the world, not AI.

Nice grooves as always. What do you think is different between vintage and modern drums? I am thinking of getting a better snare than the one that came with my Tama kit. I will be at the UK Drum Show soon so I can try a few there. I see a lot of people online with crazy collections.
Rock on!
Hi Steve.
Yes snare drum collections are very dangerous if you are married. I have few snares, Just got a Dennis Chambers 1994 Pearl that sounds amazing. I think if you get a good Ludwig Supraphonic ( 1970) or Acrolite you can start your snare drum vintage collection. If you dig the snare on the video is the Slingerland Chrome over Brass 1972
I don't have the 'deep pockets' for such a collection :)
Once you will buy the ... collection you will get an empty pocket.
Could end up with this!
