I know some of the musicians in this Music community were probably participating in the Vibes community. Some other are in the Music Zone community, and other in the Hive Open Mic community.
When I arrived in Hive I was immediately looking for music spaces to share my own music on. I joined all three communities I mentioned and decided that Vibes was the one for me. Because I thought the level of the performances was higher, more structured. But mostly because it didn't require a weekly effort. I have lots of things to do and it's impossible for me to record a music interpretation every week, given the quality and the effort I put on these videos.
I must admit that the high payout of my Vibes entries has been a huge reason for why I'm still here on Hive. I don't want to be cocky or say that I'm better than other musicians, but having 40 - 60 - 100 Hive in payout for a single video would pump up anyone, including myself.
I've just prepared my participation for week 44 - and I was working on week 45 - when I went to the Vibes community and saw this:

So week 43 has ended and we don't know nothing about it. I see there are a lot of downvotes and the payout went to zero. I don't know what's going on and I don't want to get involved in this. I'm not tagging anyone because it's none of my business.
I just want to say that I don't feel like participating in other music competitions as the ones going on now and I hope something else will come up in the future. I think I will post my videos here now but I'm a bit sad that they won't get the same attention that Vibes gave to me in the past.

Ouch! Well, I play alternative rock, metal and electronic music so I know my chance to win are pretty low so it doesn't really touch me. But yet, such a shame
