Hoy traigo para ustedes un pequeño potpourri de *Golpes Tocuyanos", ritmo típico de la región el Tocuyo en el Estado Lara, al oeste del país.
La manera de interpretarlo es con el cuatro estilo monterol, el cinco, el medio cinco, el cuatro de 5 cuerdas que hace el papel de octava, las maracas y la tambora. Escuchar todos esos instrumentos juntos es algo increíble, una sonoridad única y especial cargada de mucha energía y alegría.
Éste pequeño potpourri está compuesto por algunos versos de "Ah mundo, Barquisimeto", "Por quién suspiráis" y "Amalia Rosa" de Celestino Carrasco.
Today I bring for you a little potpourri of *Golpes Tocuyanos", a typical rhythm from the region of El Tocuyo in the State of Lara, in the west of the country.
The way to play it is with the cuatro monterol style, the cinco, the medio cinco, the 5-string cuatro that plays the role of octave, the maracas and the tambora. Listening to all these instruments together is something incredible, a unique and special sonority loaded with a lot of energy and joy.
This little potpourri is composed by some verses of "Ah mundo, Barquisimeto ", "Por quién suspiráis " and "Amalia Rosa " by Celestino Carrasco.
