How satisfying is it when you're able to identify your own creative gaps just as you have done?! So satisfying! I am putting together an art exhibition, and I do not know where on Earth the gaps between the pieces of work sit, at the moment, let alone - the comprehension to put them together.
Creativity can be a slow, burning process, but when it all comes together, as it seems to have done for you, it is fucking great magic, and fills you with such... (I don't know the word to use) joy? that there's no feeling ever quite like it.
I’m not sure 100% sure of the gaps but I think I have a much better Atticus than I used to have. I got rid of the self judgement and realized that I needed this process to be positive and for me more than anyone else.
So I don’t really have the same expectation of myself to achieve something that I feel is near to perfect like I used to and so the pressure is off, but that being said I’m 10x more invested than I used to be, putting way more time and energy then I thought was possible (it’s easier cause it’s more fun without the pressure) and I’ve been sacrificing income to focus on this. No regrets, I know this is the path!!
