El día de hoy les traigo mi clásica reseña de todas las semanas, en esta ocasión he decidido traerles a mi banda de reggae favorita de mi país, Venezuela, unos músicos de categoría increíble los cuáles tuve la dicha de poder verlos en vivo, fue una experiencia increíble y siento que quiero contarles un poco sobre sus canciones que a mi juicio son mis favoritas, aunque me faltarán demasiadas, pero intentaré hacer un esfuerzo por resumir.
Welcome back to my blog, guys! Today I bring you my classic review of every week, this time I decided to bring you my favorite reggae band from my country, Venezuela, some incredible musicians who I had the joy of seeing live, it was an incredible experience and I feel that I want to tell you a little about their songs that in my opinion are my favorites, although I will miss too many, but I will try to make an effort to summarize.
1.- Funky Fiesta

Es gracioso que mencioné el hecho de que Rawayana es una banda de reggae, porque esta canción no tiene nada que ver con reggae, porque va más hacia el funk y justo su nombre lo dice, la Funky Fiesta, pero siento que esta canción es una de las más pegajosas de la época del nacimiento de Rawayana, mientras iban en ascenso.
Aquí podemos ver que no solo tienen mucho estilo y cosas muy particulares en su manera de hacer música, pero podrían recordarte demasiado a Los Amigos Invisibles, otra banda venezolana de música de este estilo, pero en vídeos musicales, los de Rawayana se llevan el premio en originalidad.

It's funny that I mentioned the fact that Rawayana is a reggae band, because this song has nothing to do with reggae, because it goes more towards funk and just its name says it, the Funky Fiesta, but I feel that this song is one of the catchiest songs from the time of Rawayana's birth, while they were on the rise.
Here we can see that not only they have a lot of style and very particular things in their way of making music, but they could remind you too much of Los Amigos Invisibles, another Venezuelan band of this style of music, but in music videos, Rawayana's take the prize in originality.
2.- Caney ft Jambene
Algo que caracteriza demasiado bien a Rawayana, es que siempre han sabido elegir sus colaboraciones, porque siempre tienen matices muy bonitas con las voces que eligen para las mismas.
Traigo esta canción porque es una de las canciones de reggae que más me ha gustado de ellos en colaboración y jústamente ganaron un premio Pepsi Music por mejor canción de reggae y no es para menos, si quieren escuchar una canción con una frescura sabrosa para estar en la playa o estar en tu casa relajado y acostado, te recomiendo esta totalmente.
Something that characterizes Rawayana very well, is that they have always known how to choose their collaborations, because they always have very nice nuances with the voices they choose for them.
I bring this song because it is one of the reggae songs that I have liked most of them in collaboration and just won a Pepsi Music award for best reggae song and it is not for less, if you want to listen to a song with a tasty freshness to be on the beach or to be in your house relaxed and lying down, I totally recommend this one.
3.- Vayanse Todos A Mama
Siempre he pensado que el arte no debería formar parte de la política de ninguna manera, no deberíamos politizar la música que hacemos porque las canciones que uno hace como músico no son para una ideología política y esta canción para mí es una de las mayores genialidades que ha nacido en esta tierra.
En primer lugar, porque colaboraron con Los Amigos Invisibles, justo el grupo que les dije al principio que se parece demasiado a ellos, luego, el mensaje de que realmente la música no es de Derecha ni de Izquierda (hablando a nivel político), además del hecho de que en Venezuela el tema político es un tabú muy extraño que tiene matices muy delicadas para ser tomadas en cuenta.
Es una crítica a la política asquerosa que existe en Venezuela con el sabor y frescura de ambos grupos, siento que, en definitiva es algo genial.
I have always thought that art should not be part of politics in any way, we should not politicize the music we make because the songs that one makes as a musician are not for a political ideology and this song for me is one of the greatest geniuses that has been born in this land.
First of all, because they collaborated with Los Amigos Invisibles, just the group that I told you at the beginning that is too much like them, then, the message that really the music is neither Right nor Left (politically speaking), besides the fact that in Venezuela the political issue is a very strange taboo that has very delicate nuances to be taken into account.
It is a critique of the disgusting politics that exist in Venezuela with the flavor and freshness of both groups, I feel that, all in all, it is something great.
Bonus Track.- A Tu Nombre
Esta canción puede resultar ser muy perturbadura para muchas personas, pero para mí me parece una genialidad plena y absoluta, porque es una manera de hablar de algo que es totalmente natural como el hecho de sentir deseo por alguien y literalmente volver a esa persona el motivo por el que decidas masturbarte en un día de total aburrimiento en casa y hacerlo con sutileza y estilo.
El vídeo musical es bastante implícito/explícito porque las indirectas apenas rozan la delgada línea entre lo explícito y lo obvio, pero sigue siendo un aspecto sutil que llega a parecer un total absurdo y del mismo modo, parece también como si estuviéramos pensando en este tema bajo los efectos de los alucinógenos, lo cuál es parte del concepto de la banda, el hecho de estar súper high y dejarse llevar por el feeling de la música.
This song may come across as very disturbing to many people, but to me it seems like complete and utter genius, because it's a way of talking about something that is totally natural like feeling desire for someone and literally making that person the reason you decide to masturbate on a totally boring day at home and doing it with subtlety and style.
The music video is quite implicit/explicit because the hints barely skim the fine line between explicit and obvious, but it's still a subtle aspect that comes to seem totally absurd and likewise, it also seems as if we are thinking about this track under the effects of hallucinogens, which is part of the band's concept, the fact of being super high and getting carried away by the feeling of the music.
