El tema que a continuación les voy a interpretar, acompañada en el fondo musical de la guitarra con mi esposo Javier Beltrán, me trae un grato recuerdo de una tarde tranquila, allá en la casa de mis padres hace algunos años atrás; observando a mi padre quien plácidamente escuchaba en la radio una canción, y, al percatarse que lo estaba mirando, me dijo: "Hija, esa canción me gusta mucho, le pido el favor que se lo aprenda para que me la cante".
Esa canción resultó ser Quererte A Ti, cantada por la excelente vocalista Ángela Carrasco de su álbum "2 en 1 (Amigo mío, cuenta conmigo 1997)" cuyo compositor es Blanes Cortes Camilo.
En otra hermosa tarde, donde el escenario era semejante, me senté calladamente al lado de mi padre y le cante sin aviso y acapela la canción que en días antes me había pedido; que satisfacción sentí, al mirar su rostro iluminarse con el brillo de sus bellos ojos azules, por la alegría de ver y escuchar a su hija obedecer y cumplir con su pedido.
