Hello my dear friends! This Friday, my favorite singer Taylor Swift's 12th album was released, and I couldn't pass up the opportunity to share it with you!
Hola mis queridos amigos! Este viernes el álbum 12 de mi cantante favorita Taylor Swift fue lanzado y yo no puedo dejar pasar la oportunidad de compartirlo con ustedes!
I had high expectations since it was announced, and listening to it in its entirety on Friday I really loved it, as you know Taylor has been my favorite singer for many years and whenever she releases new music I can't help but get excited since more than once I have felt very identified with her music. This is her twelfth album and I'm not going to lie, although I don't hate it I consider that it could have been better, I mean that instead of being an innovative album with a different sound from what she's done before it seemed more like midnights 2.0 or 1989 pt 2 lol because the songs reminded me a lot of these 2 albums that I personally like a lot, however, for all the commotion that this release caused I expected something different, but still, I don't hate it and I liked it.
Tuve muchas expectativas desde que fue anunciado, y escucharlo por completo el viernes realmente me encantó, como ustedes saben Taylor es mi cantante favorita desde hace muchos años y siempre que lanza música nueva no puedo evitae emocionarme ya que más de una vez me he sentido muy identificada con su música. Este es su doceavo álbum y no les voy a mentir, aunque no lo odio considero que pudo haber estado mejor, me refiero a que en lugar de ser un álbum innovador con un sonido diferente a lo que ya ha hecho antes me pareció más un midnights 2.0 o un 1989 pt 2 jajaja porque las canciones me recordaron mucho estos 2 álbumes que en lo personal me gustan mucho sin embargo, por todo el revuelo que causó este lanzamiento esperaba algo diferente pero aún asÃ, no lo odio y fue de mi agrado.
The album is made up of 12 songs and I really liked several like "The Fate of Ophelia", "Elizabeth Taylor", "Opallite", "Wood" and "The Life Of A Showgirl" which she sings as a duet with Sabrina Carpenter who is one of my favorite singers and hearing her sing with Taylor really delighted me because she has also been a fan of hers since she was very little and for anyone to have the opportunity to sing with their idol must be something incredible. Something that I also loved is that instead of having songs that talk about heartbreak like several of her past works, this album expresses her feelings of being in love and about to get married which is also good and I applaud it, as well as that this time she dared to talk about other topics such as sex and the pressure of fame which well, was to my liking.
El álbum se compone de 12 canciones y realmente me gustaron varias como "The Fate of Ophelia", "Elizabeth Taylor", "Opallite", "Wood" y "The Life Of A Showgirl" la cual canta a dúo con Sabrina Carpenter la cual es una de mis cantantes favoritas y, escucharla cantar junto a Taylor realmente me encantó porque ella también es su fan desde muy pequeña y para cualquiera tener la oportunidad de cantar con su Ãdolo debe ser algo increÃble. Algo que me encantó también es que en lugar de tener canciones que hablen de desamor como varios de sus trabajos pasados, este disco expresa sus sentimientos al estar enamorada y a punto de casarse lo cual también está bien y lo aplaudo, asà como que esta vez se haya atrevido a hablar de otros temas como por ejemplo el sexo y la presión de la fama lo cual bueno, fue de mi agrado.
I also really liked Taylor's image for the album since it escapes being the "good girl" that she always is to show herself as a mature, empowered and self-confident woman with a lot of sensuality. In addition, the costumes are also very beautiful. To conclude, I would say that this has been an album that will give much to talk about and that her fans will know how to appreciate well, I hope that in the future Taylor is encouraged to try new things in her music and that she continues to delight us as only she knows how to do. Although this is not her best work, it does not mean that I liked it because it really has very good songs, and I would really like to recommend it. La imagen de Taylor para el disco también me gustó mucho ya que se escapa de ser "la niña buena" que siempre es para mostrarse como una una mujer madura, empoderada y segura de si misma con mucha sensualidad además, los vestuarios también son muy hermosos. Para finalizar dirÃa que este ha sido un álbum que dará mucho de que hablar y que sus fans sabremos apreciar bien, espero que a futuro Taylor se anime a probar cosas nuevas en su música y que nos siga deleitando como sólo ella sabe hacerlo y aunque este no es su mejor trabajo no significa que me haya gustado porque de verdad tiene canciones muy buenas, y realmente me gustarÃa recomendarlo, espero lo puedan escuchar y tener su opinión acerca del disco el cual ha sido un placer compartir con ustedes.
