History of Drum and Bass

Forged in the cauldrons of the rave scene, a music force like no other was born. Some say it was a metamorphosis of or the natural evolution of Jungle. DnB swept the underground like a unstoppable tsunami, that even until this day, reverberates with a purity uncorrupted by the world of commercial music.

Dear audience, I give you the history of Drum and Bass.

Very nice! Drum & Bass has so much influence from other genres, the fact that it created its own genre is simply amazing!

For all the electronic music fans, this must be a 90min (or so) sit to watch the history of D&B. I've seen many times D7B being the second room music indeed, with hardly people on the dance floor. D&B is somehow a niche genre, but a genre that stays. I remember back in the days, Jungle to be a thing (talking about end 80s early 90s), not sure if this was a kinda frontrunner to D&B... Maybe, but then again, Jungle was more accessible as far as I remember :) I'll for sure will give this documentary a full watch... so far did see some fragments by skipping through like a DJ would skip through a track she/he is listening for the first time in tje 'record shop'.
