Welcome to Three Tune Tuesday. A nice space in the Music community that was born from the idea of brother @ablaze, where all participants recommend music to each other. Until the middle of last week I was very happy, and it turns out that since yesterday we have a guest conductor coming from Brazil. His name is Bruno Procopio and he will be working exclusively with the Simon Bolivar Baroque Orchestra and the Simon Bolivar National Choir, and we were only going to do The Krönungsmesse, known in English as Coronation Mass by Mozart, one of my favorite works, but he did not want to miss the opportunity to work three Brazilian choral works with the choir, and boy, that is a language that is very difficult for me. Today's rehearsal was better for me, but that's because I've heard many versions of these three songs, and it's the music that rolls around in my mind all day, so these are my three recommendations for today....
¡Bienvenidos a Three Tune Tuesday!. Un agradable espació en la comunidad Music que nació de la idea del hermano @ablaze, donde todos los participantes nos recomendamos música entre nosotros. Hasta mediados de la semana pasada estaba muy feliz, y es que resulta que desde ayer tenemos un director invitado que viene de Brasil. Su nombre es Bruno Procopio y trabajará exclusivamente con la Orquesta Barroca Simón Bolívar y la Coral Nacional Simón Bolívar, y solo íbamos a hacer The Krönungsmesse, conocida en español como Misa de Coronación de Mozart, una de mis obras preferidas, pero no quiso perder la oportunidad de trabajar tres obras corales brasileras con el coro, y vaya que ese es un idioma que me cuesta mucho. El ensayo de hoy fue mejor para mí, pero se debe a que he oído muchas versiones de estas tres canciones, y es la música que rueda todo el día en mi mente, así que estas son mis tres recomendaciones de hoy...
1. Suite dos Pescadores
I start with this work by Dorival Caymmi, possibly because it is the first one I was able to sing, and is that the tenor does not have to sing many lyrics, we only have two phrases in Portuguese and the rest are gimmicky sounds or onomatopoeias, but it is also very beautiful, so that's why I will share the same choral arrangement by Damiano Cozzella, which is the one we are rehearsing. These guys from Madrigal UDESC do it very well, and I think it's a delightful version that you can enjoy of this song.
Comienzo con esta obra de Dorival Caymmi, posiblemente porque es la primera que pude cantar, y es que el tenor no tiene que cantar mucha letra, solo tenemos dos frases en portugués y el resto son sonidos efectistas u onomatopeyas, pero también es muy hermosa, así que por eso compartiré el mismo arreglo coral de Damiano Cozzella, que es el que estamos ensayando. Estos chicos de Madrigal UDESC lo hacen muy bien, y creo que es una versión deliciosa que pueden disfrutar de esta canción.
2. Tristeza Pé No Chão | Jair Oliveira e Luciana Mello
This second recommendation is the song that is giving me the gray hairs. Here we do sing a lot, in fact rarely do songs have as many lyrics and verses as this one. My head was cracking in front of the sheet music until I heard this version by Luciana Mello and the zamba started to make sense and get organized in my mind. There are many versions on Youtube and Spotify, but these people perform it perfectly and with a lot of heart, it's impossible not to love it and see this girl sing it live. My Portuguese Teacher 😅
Esta segunda recomendación es la canción que me está sacando canas. Aquí si cantamos mucho, de hecho pocas veces las canciones tienen tanta letra y estrofas como esta. Se me rompía la cabeza frente a la partitura hasta que escuché esta versión de Luciana Mello y la zamba comenzó a tener sentido y a organizarse en mi mente. Hay muchas versiones en Youtube y Spotify, pero esta gente la interpreta perfectamente y con mucho corazón, es imposible no amarla y ver a esta chica cantar en vivo. Mi Maestra de Portugués 😅
3. Muié Rendera
Musical arrangement by Carlos Alberto Fonseca, this song titled Muié Rendera is my favorite of the repertoire that we will sing this Sunday in Caracas. From the moment you start reading the score you realize that its sound is wonderful, relaxed and sounds like Brazil. It makes me very happy to have known this music and to perform it. Yes, I have a little difficulty with the language, but its sound shows that music is about sensations, and before knowing its meaning I felt identified with it, it is beautiful and fresh music, and if you want to hear music in Portuguese you can't miss this one...
Arreglo musical de Carlos Alberto Fonseca, esta canción titulada Muié Rendera es mi preferida del repertorio que cantaremos este Domingo en Caracas. Desde que comienzas a leer la partitura te das cuenta de que su sonido es maravilloso, relajado y suena a Brasil. Me hace muy feliz haber conocido esta música e interpretarla. Sí, me cuesta un poco el idioma, pero su sonido demuestra que la música se trata de sensaciones, y es que antes de saber su significado me sentí identificado con ella, es música hermosa y fresca, y si quieren oír música en portugués no puede faltar esta...
La Ñapa Shakirezca

Saludos hermano que bonito se escucha me gusto bastante la primera y tercera recomendación, me dio un sueño jajaja no porque sea mala sino que esas melodías relajan más que todo la tercera "Muié Rendera", generan como un ambiente de tranquilidad tan calidad, jajaj voy a tener que considerar escucharlas en horas laborales para que le de ese ambiente a la oficina donde trabajo.

Esto está muy bonito, la selección está genial. Y ciertamente, el portugués es difícil de pronunciar, porque la fonética es distinta, aún cuando la raíz y la escritura son muy similares (pero lo que es error ortográfico en Español es correcto en Portugués, y viceversa), aunque todo es práctica. Me gustó mucho la tercera canción.

Esta vez fue complejo al inicio porque había algo de renuencia, pero lo resolvimos bien.
