Crossing Oceans

Imported vinyl records some will be remembered others unknown, these are days to remember, taste of yesteryear might sound cool.

TONTO (The Original New Timbral Orchestra) British-American electronic music duo consisting of Malcolm Cecil and Robert Margouleff.

Tonto's Expanding Head Band one of those off the cuff pieces of music that floated into my head sitting and thinking about the unusual. Drifting or floating through time, space listening to them again, still find a fascination to these early pioneers in sound.

Time for you to listen and let me know what you think, remember we were teenagers bouncing off walls talking shit many/most weekends, perhaps relaxing to experimental songs in the market, maybe the young generation today will enjoy this.

Back then the Moog synthesiser was new, exciting back then, finding ways to somewhat tame was part of the glamour listening to different, sometimes you purchased or was it a friend I cannot remember, it's not in my collection, perhaps it should be.

Tonto's Expanding Head Band - Cybernaut Albumn Zero Time 1971

British Psych/Pop Rock field, some fun thinking back to some of the music we have enjoyed while progressive rock was massive on vinyl in the early 70s.

CAPABILITY BROWN (named after England's greatest landscape gardener) only ever released two albumns yet still have a following. Diverse to many this band managed to achieve musical delights in endlessly diverse tracks and well worth listening to.

Albumn we do have in our collection is Voice, great band if you enjoy harmony along with variety of instraments used.

Capability Brown - I Am And So Are You

Another great progressive rock band from London, Renaissance with album of the same name in our treasured collection.

"Combining a female lead vocal with a fusion of classical, folk, rock, and jazz influences." Musical talent with keyboard which I always enjoy brought another level to music.

Original band consisted of lead vocalist Jane Relf, guitarist and vocalist Keith Relf, bassist Louis Cennamo, drummer and vocalist Jim McCarty, and keyboardist John Hawken started in 1969.

Renaissance - Kings and Queens

Many of the bands influenced others over the years, some made a couple of albums then moved on, as always the musics goes on!

I loved the musical choice that you bring us on this occasion. You are very right, dear friend @joanstewart, time passes and the music continues. I loved the final proverb.
"You can't dance without music, although you can sing instrumentally without dancing"

From metal, rock, blues, raggae, classical, jazz and everything in between we enjoyed our times together, it depended on mood or persons home we were visiting. May music always bring joy to each!
