Este merengue Venezolano se originó en 1989, dedicado al flautista del cuarteto Toñito Naranjo. Tuvo lugar un disco del Cuarteto y sin imaginarlo fue la pieza con más popularidad de todo el disco.

El desarrollo de este merengue nace de una manera particular, ya que no estaba en mis planes grabar El rezongón, sin embargo la idea vino de la oboista y luego de la hora laboral, mientras pasaba por los pasillos me encontré a la maraquera, la invite y me dijo que si y listo ya teníamos algo bonito que mostrar para todos ustedes.
The development of this merengue was born in a particular way, since it was not in my plans to record El rezongón, however the idea came from the oboist and after work time, while I was passing through the corridors I met the maraquera, I invited her and he said yes and that's it, we already had something nice to show for all of you.
