RE: Three Tune Tuesday - #ttt - The Midnight Special - week 217

in Music2 months ago (edited)

Ann and Nancy Wilson have long been the 'Heart & soul' of Heart. They were a local band bouncing between Seattle and Vancouver before they made it big. I had the privilege of seeing these talented sisters perform their hits back in April not long following Nancy's Cancer treatment and having endured a compound fracture of her arm. She could have cancelled the show at the Pacific Colosseum but Nancy insisted performing to their hometown crowd.
This may have been her last show.

Oh wow, you're so fortunate to have caught them! I would love to have seen them in their early days too!

I was in the last year of my teens. 1986. They played Cleveland "The Agora™" on the tour of their best album Heart IMO. It truly was amazing to see.

Heart continued topping the charts through the 80s and 90s with hits like “These Dreams,” “Alone,” “What About Love,” “If Looks Could Kill,” “Never,” and a string of other hits that showcased the sisters’ talents as musicians and singers.

I'm sorry I have missed your posts and replies! My sister came down from Tennessee and we have been on an intensive schedule. Am back now dragging like a wet Kleenex 😆

I will catch up albeit slowly!
