Esta fue la primera canción que escuche de ellos, recuerdo que la escuche en el celular pequeño que tenía mi hermana Laura en ese momento, tenía varias canciones de su álbum “I love you” (año 2013) al escucharlas quede fascinada, ellos tienen un estilo diferente y único, que atrapa de inmediato, no sabría explicar lo que ellos trasmiten por medio de sus canciones, pero si tienen muchas referencias de otros artistas, podría decir que tiene similitud con “Lana del rey” pero a su modo, además que en todos sus álbumes son diferentes pero dejando su esencia.

“Sweater Weather.”

Esta canción por ser la pionera se merece el primer lugar en este top 5, me gusta, tanto por su producción audiovisual y su letra, el video es en blanco y negro y es muy atractivo visualmente, tiene muchas referencias a la letra, al tener una paleta en blanco y negro lo hace ver bastante elegante y moderno además de que congenia mucho con su álbum “I love you”, la letra es bastante normal, es rápida, se basa en un hombre que busca compañía y describe lo que le gustaría hacer, no es la gran cosa pero tampoco está mal.

The Neighbourhood - Sweater Weather.

This was the first song I heard from them, I remember listening to it on the small cell phone that my sister Laura had at that time, I had several songs from their album "I love you" (year 2013) when listening to them I was fascinated, they have a different and unique style, that catches immediately, I could not explain what they transmit through their songs, but if they have many references to other artists, I could say that it has similarity with "Lana del rey" but in their own way, plus in all their albums are different but leaving its essence.

"Sweater Weather."

This song for being the pioneer deserves the first place in this top 5, I like it, both for its audiovisual production and its lyrics, the video is in black and white and is very attractive visually, it has many references to the lyrics, having a black and white palette makes it look quite elegant and modern plus it fits a lot with her album "I love you", the lyrics are quite normal, it is fast, it is based on a man looking for company and describes what he would like to do, it is not the big thing but it is not bad either.

The Neighbourhood – Stargazing.

Cuando esta canción salió recuerdo que mi obsesión era tan grande que mis hermanas ya se encontraban hartas de que yo la pusiera en todas partes, pero es que el ritmo es muy pegajoso, me gusta porque es bastante bailable y tiene un toque retro, todas sus canciones del álbum “Chip Chrome & The Mono-Tones” está cargado de melancolía y ese ritmo de los 80s que me encanta, este es su álbum más reciente y lo escuche muchas veces completo, tengo varias favoritas de ahí, pero elegí las 2 que más me gustan.

“Stargazing”

El video es muy peculiar, me encanta que sea diferente y vaya conectado con frases de la letra, tiene una paleta vibrante y refrescante, en el video aparece el vocalista junto con los demás integrante haciendo un tour en una casa rodante, buscando la forma de ganar dinero por medio del show que hacen, junto a él vocalista se encuentra una joven que es su acompañante e impulso para seguir avanzando y no rendirse, al final logra el objetivo, es muy interesante este video clip, esa es la perspectiva en que lo vi .

La letra es bastante peculiar se podría decir, siento que se puede mirar desde 2 perspectiva, yo la mire desde el angulo de “Alcanzar los sueños y no rendirse” pero la realidad de la letra es otra, y es también similar a la primera del top, es más del ámbito sexual.

The Neighbourhood - Stargazing.

When this song came out I remember that my obsession was so big that my sisters were already fed up with me playing it everywhere, but the rhythm is very catchy, I like it because it is quite danceable and has a retro touch, all their songs from the album "Chip Chrome & The Mono-Tones" is loaded with melancholy and that 80s rhythm that I love, this is their most recent album and I listened to it many times in full, I have several favorites from there, but I chose the 2 that I like the most.

"Stargazing"

The video is very peculiar, I love that it is different and goes connected with phrases of the lyrics, it has a vibrant and refreshing palette, in the video appears the vocalist along with the other member doing a tour in a motor home, looking for a way to earn money through the show they do, next to him is a young woman who is his companion and impulse to keep moving forward and not give up, in the end he achieves the goal, it is very interesting this video clip, that is the perspective in which I saw it .

The lyrics are quite peculiar you could say, I feel that you can look at it from 2 perspectives, I looked at it from the angle of "Achieving dreams and not giving up" but the reality of the lyrics is different, and it is also similar to the first one in the top, it is more sexual.

The Neighbourhood – Softcore.

Ayer subí un short con esta canción y es que se ha convertido en mi favorita de este álbum “hard to imagine the neighbourhood ever changing” porque la letra es tan real que asusta sentirse identificado, como comente en ese posh, yo lo mire desde ambas perspectivas, desde la personal y desde la romántica (relación) y en ambas esta terrible si se llegan a sentir identificados, aquí sí puedo profundizar.

Relación.

Es una relación que ha tenido tiempo, y es ahí cuando uno de los dos esta exhausto por la relación, se siente sofocado y cansado pero a su vez no quiere huir o romper porque sabe que depende emocionalmente de la otra persona, a su vez todavía le tiene cariño y no quiere lasimarlo/a. llevar una relación no es fácil, por eso debe ser de ambos no una persona.

Personal.

¿Somos muy jóvenes para pasar por esto? El hacer cosas desde temprana edad, que no estamos preparados y eso nos agobia bastante, el pasar por cosas tan difíciles que no sabemos manejar, el acumular los problemas que pasamos, todo ello es agotador y frustrante a la vez.

Canción que realmente ame y como dije anteriormente es una de mis favoritas de este álbum es muy melancólico y triste, lleno de realidades.

The Neighbourhood - Softcore.

Yesterday I uploaded a short with this song and it has become my favorite of this album "hard to imagine the neighborhood ever changing" because the lyrics are so real that it is scary to feel identified, as I commented in that posh, I look at it from both perspectives, from the personal and from the romantic (relationship) and in both it is terrible if you come to feel identified, here I can go deeper.

Relationship.

It is a relationship that has had time, and that is when one of the two is exhausted by the relationship, feels suffocated and tired but at the same time does not want to run away or break because he/she knows that he/she depends emotionally on the other person, at the same time he/she is still fond of him/her and does not want to hurt him/her.

Personal.

Are we too young to go through this? Doing things from an early age, that we are not ready and that overwhelms us a lot, going through things so difficult that we don't know how to handle, accumulating the problems we go through, all of it is exhausting and frustrating at the same time.

Song that I really loved and as I said before is one of my favorites of this album is very melancholic and sad, full of realities.

The Neighbourhood - Daddy Issues.

Canción que todos aman, ya sea por su letra tan prohibida y ritmo tan sombrío, elegí esta canción como una de sus mejores éxito y es porque a pesar de los años todavía sigue sonando y se considera iconica. Muchos videos de letra de esta canción tienen referencias películas como “Lolita” “belleza americana” entre otras, y es algo que está marcado de un tiempo para acá, quieren romantizar este tipo de relación que a mi parecer está mal, lo considero “Pedofilia” quieren aprovecharse de niñas que la mayoría no tuvo una figura paterna, y ellas buscan apoyo en ello.

La letra es básicamente eso, es de alguien que desearía tener a una niña para terminarla de criar de forma romántica. El ritmo como mencione es bastante sombrio y es pegajosso, el video es en blanco y negro al igual que “Sweater Weather” ya que provienen del mismo álbum. En lo personal me gusta la canción y el video, pero en si lo que no estoy de acuerdo es en que lo romanticen.

The Neighbourhood - Daddy Issues.

Song that everyone loves, either for its lyrics so forbidden and so gloomy rhythm, I chose this song as one of his best hits and it is because despite the years it still continues to sound and is considered iconic. Many lyric videos of this song have references to movies like "Lolita" "American Beauty" among others, and it is something that is marked for some time now, they want to romanticize this type of relationship that in my opinion is wrong, I consider it "Pedophilia" they want to take advantage of girls that most did not have a father figure, and they seek support in it.

The lyrics are basically that, it's about someone who would like to have a girl to finish raising her in a romantic way. The beat as I mentioned is quite somber and it's catchy, the video is in black and white as well as "Sweater Weather" since they come from the same album. Personally I like the song and the video, but what I don't agree with is that they romanticize it.

The Neighbourhood - Pretty Boy.

Otra canción del álbum “Chip Chrome & The Mono-Tones” esta cancion me encanta, la verdad es muy melancólica y triste, al escucharla además de relajarme me pone muy nostálgica, me gusta mucho el video y la letra, van en conjunto sin duda alguna, ambos reflejan soledad y tristeza.

De este álbum los videos están sincronizados, me gusta la estética que le dieron además de la paleta de colores y los ángulos, disfruto mucho viendo los videos clip de este fascinante álbum. La letra como dije es bastante melancólica, se basa en una relación que está decayendo y puede que no tenga solución, pero a su vez ambos se necesitan para estar mejor.

De todos los álbumes cada uno tiene una historia que contar, una estética diferente pero sin duda mantiene la misma esencia sombría y única.

Another song from the album "Chip Chrome & The Mono-Tones" I love this song, the truth is very melancholic and sad, when I listen to it besides relaxing it makes me very nostalgic, I really like the video and the lyrics, they go together without a doubt, both reflect loneliness and sadness.

From this album the videos are synchronized, I like the aesthetics they gave it in addition to the color palette and angles, I really enjoy watching the video clips of this fascinating album. The lyrics as I said are quite melancholic, it is based on a relationship that is decaying and may not have a solution, but at the same time they both need each other to be better.

Of all the albums each one has a story to tell, a different aesthetic but without a doubt maintains the same somber and unique essence.
