Bienvenidos sean todos y reciba un saludo cordial, hace algunos días hice un post sobre una de mis series animadas favoritas en cuanto a música se refiere y al ver que tuvo tan buena receptividad quise hacer una segunda parte.

Esta vez hablare de una serie animada un poco más reciente y que estuvo compitiendo fuertemente con la serie del post anterior (El cual te dejo en la palabra "post" y me refiero nada más y nada menos que a Steven Universe.

Welcome everyone and receive a warm greeting, a few days ago I made a post about one of my favorite animated series in terms of music and seeing that it had such a good receptivity I wanted to make a second part.

This time I will talk about a more recent animated series and that was competing strongly with the series of the previous post (Which I leave you in the word "post" if you want to visit it) and I refer to nothing more and nothing less than Steven Universe.

Aunque esta serie no posea una canción en cada capítulo como si las tiene Phineas y Ferb. La cantidad de buenas canciones que tiene también es de reconocerse.

Y creo que esto se debe a que las canciones en esta serie se utilizan como un vínculo empático, es decir para que puedas experimentar lo que el personaje está sintiendo en ese momento y te relaciones mejor con toda la serie.

Although this series does not have a song in each chapter as Phineas and Ferb does. The amount of good songs it has is also to be recognized.

And I think this is because the songs in this series are used as an empathic link, that is, so you can experience what the character is feeling at that moment and relate better with the whole series.

También son utilizadas a veces para dar una especie de alivio a una situación muy tensa que esté pasando o a punto de pasar.

Y después está la canción de “más fuerte que tu” que con solo escucharla ya me motivo al 1.000% uff, que canción.

They are also sometimes used to give a kind of relief to a very tense situation that is happening or about to happen.

And then there's the song "stronger than you" that just by listening to it I'm motivated to 1,000% uff, what a song.

EVERY SONG IS A LEARNING

What I like about the Steven Universe songs is that they are good for reconnecting with oneself in the different facets of life in which we may find ourselves.

The songs in this series specialize in helping to deal with negative emotions such as frustration, anger, contempt for oneself and others, sadness, heartbreak and so on. This is also because the series is a great: "accept yourself, just as you are with all your imperfections." But told through hundreds of chapters, with creatures from outer space and a planetary invasion attempt, a war of thousands of years and a boy who must face all this and at the same time his puberty.

Lo que me gusta de las canciones de Steven Universe es que son buenas para reconectarse con uno mismo en las distintas facetas de la vida en la que nos podamos encontrar.

Las canciones de esta serie se especializan en ayudar a lidiar con emociones negativas tales como la frustración, la ira, el desprecio hacia uno mismo y hacia los demás, la tristeza, el desamor y un largo etc. Esto se debe también a que la serie es un gran: “acéptate a ti mismo, tal cual eres con todo y tus imperfecciones.” Pero dicho a través de cientos de capítulos, con criaturas del espacio exterior y un intento de invasión planetaria, una guerra de miles de años y un chico que debe enfrentar todo esto y al mismo tiempo su pubertad..

¿DE DONDE SACO TODO ESTO?

WHERE DO I GET ALL THIS?

You're probably wondering how do I know this stuff and where do I get all these songs from? Well... I'm that weird guy who has cartoon music and anime openings on his playlist and listens to them as "normal music" whatever that means.

I'm also very over-analytical, so I look at some things differently than others and I don't let a cover tell me if I should read a book or not, I mean, I give everything a chance to see if it's worth it or not.

Seguramente se preguntan ¿Cómo sé estas cosas y de donde saco todas estas canciones? Bueno… Yo soy ese tipo raro que en su playlist hay música de caricaturas y openings de anime y los escucha como “música normal” sea lo que sea que eso signifique.

También soy muy sobre-analítico, por eso veo algunas cosas de forma diferente a lo demás y no dejo que una portada me diga si debo leer un libro o no, es decir, le doy una oportunidad a cada cosa para saber si merece o no la pena.

The main differences between the songs of Phineas and Ferb and those of Steven Universe are that Phineas and Ferb want you to live an adventure with each of their songs and musical numbers, that you forget what you are doing and shake your skeleton. While Steven Universe seeks conciliation with your "negative" feelings so that you learn to live with them.

Las principales diferencias entre las canciones de Phineas y Ferb y las de Steven Universe son que Phineas y Ferb buscan que vivas una aventura con cada una de sus canciones y números musicales, que te olvides de lo que estés haciendo y sacudas el esqueleto. Mientras que Steven Universe busca la conciliación con tus sentimientos “negativos” para que aprendas a vivir con ellos.
