Smoke - Sax in the Kitchen.
I'm at the 2 week mark today since I have come back to 3speak and the community at hive and it has been quite cool. I am still finding my way around, still discovering different communities still have to improve my blogging skills but it has been very interesting and fun. I have book marked my favorite artists so far and I know I will be adding to that list. There are a few I would love to do a collaboration with and their performances have been quite inspiring and even though it is still early days I am really appreciative of the support I have had and if you are one of the people who have and you are here now. Thank you very much, you are now a member of the saxy club so stick around cos I am only just warming up and I have s few ideas behind the scene that I am going to bringing soon.
Saying that, this is an improviation of saxophone over a beats tune called "Smoke" It is a trap, rap, hip hop instrumental from India produced by DrawnyBeats. I did this sax 4 years ago and recorded it in the Kitchen using my mobile phone. I don't record like that anymore because it is not the best sound quality but this was okay. Now you can not tell I am in the kitchen but I do want to relaunch something I started doing a while back because apart from music I do like my food. I have invited a couple of DJ's around, cooked them a nice Jamaican dish or one of my specialalities and then we have had music session, but since then I do DJ myself now and I do still entertain with other DJs but I want to bring the idea back. Perhaps I will do a short film of myself cooking sharing my method and playing some saxy music in the back ground.
I just need to remember to turn the oven off after I have cooked, because I get that excited about eating my food that sometimes I rush off and 10, 15 mins later the smoke alarms are going of and I have to open my kitchen door, but that is not the reason why this is called "Smoke" infact I have no idea but they do say there is no fire without smoke and I heard this track twice and I like this groove.
Talking about beats... I caught up with another music brother of mine right here in hive who has got some serious talent when it comes to creating beats and that is @lyon-89. It was good to see that he is still here and I was surprised to see him sing a few days back. This guy rocks so if you need inspiration for a tune, go check him out.
Anyway I am still looking around still connecting and still getting inspiration from other artists to connect with from all over the world. So thank you for checking me out and if this is your first time, do go and checkout the other tunes I have brought so far but one warning...

Thank you very much and yes I agree, i prefer to show a face even though i can sometime have the craziest facial expressions when blowing an instrument as we all do and I am still working on using OBS so I can deliver a good balance of sound and video at the same time. It's just a small learning curve but it helps to connect with people who are watching. I went over to your blog to and inspires by your 60 hours of no food, I am going to start just one day a week for the next month. It makes sense to allow the body to wash it self out so I'll see how it goes. After 2 days though I think, I would be dreaming of food lol
It seems unbelievable, but the longer you go without eating, the easier it gets. This is where the mind and what we have “learned” come into play, because the truth is that the body doesn't need that much.
I hope to see your progress with OBS soon and continue enjoying your live performances.
Thank you very much and yes I have good news. I finally worked the OBS out so now I can just plug in play record. It seems easy looking back but wow it was a good 36 hours of frustration, and at times I felt like giving up and now it seems so simple :)
