Hoy hablaré de mi álbum favorito a la fecha de la joven artista que hace no mucho cambió la industria del pop, Billie Eilish. A muchos no les agrada del todo su música pero muchÃsimos más la adoran y honestamente a mà me encanta. Si bien es cierto que la mente maestra es realmente su hermano Finneas, la combinación del trabajo de ambos hace de la música de Billie algo muy placentero y fácil de escuchar.
El álbum Happier than ever («Más feliz que nunca») fue publicado en 2021 con una duración de una hora. El género principal siendo el pop alternativo caracterÃstico de la artista, con tintas de jazz y electropop que ayudan a reflejar el mensaje introspectivo de las canciones.

Today I will talk about my favorite album to date from the young artist who not long ago changed the pop industry, Billie Eilish. Many don't really like her music but many more adore it, and honestly I love it. While it is true that the mastermind behind everything is really her brother Finneas, the combination of their work makes Billie's music very pleasant and easy to listen to.
The album Happier than ever was published in 2021 with a duration of one hour. The main genre being the artist's characteristic alternative pop, with hints of jazz and electropop that help reflect the introspective message of her songs.

En este álbum se nota mucho la mejorÃa en el trabajo de Billie. Ya no suena a algo indie sino que la producción está mucho más elaborada en todos los sentidos. El sonido es mucho más limpio, la voz de Billie tiene más fuerza (aunque mantiene esa forma de cantar como si fuera susurrada), las letras son un poco más profundas con significados más concretos y los vÃdeos musicales son geniales como complemento.
En general creo que es un trabajo más maduro, que demuestra que Billie ha crecido.
On this album, the improvement in Billie's work is very noticeable. It no longer sounds like something indie but the production is much more elaborate in every sense. The sound is much cleaner, Billie's voice is stronger (although she maintains that way of singing as if she were whispering), the lyrics are a little deeper with more concrete meanings and the music videos are great as a complement.
In general I think it is a more mature work, which shows that Billie has grown.
Finneas es un productor musical increÃble. Creo que solamente él es capaz de mezclar la voz de su hermana, suave y dulce, con sonidos que no quedan sepultados para darle protagonismo a la voz, sino que todos los elementos suenan complementados y balanceados, dando como resultado una música relajante y muy pop.
Por supuesto hay influencia de otros géneros la cual usan como elementos de contraste que realmente generan una mezcla interesante y súper agradable. Ejemplo de eso son las canciones Billie Bossa Nova, NDA, Happier than ever y en general, lo que se puede escuchar en todo el álbum.
Finneas is an incredible music producer. I believe that he's the only one capable of mixing his sister's voice, soft and sweet, with sounds that are not buried to give prominence to the voice, but rather all the elements sound complemented and balanced, resulting in a relaxing and very pop mix.
Of course there is influence from other genres which they use as contrasting elements that really generate an interesting and super pleasant mix. An example of this are the songs like Billie Bossa Nova, NDA, Happier than ever and in general, what can be heard throughout the whole album.
En las letras se encuentran reflexiones de Billie sobre su vida amorosa, su crecimiento como persona y también como artista, narrando las emociones encontradas respecto a la fama y el privilegio de poder dedicarse a lo que más ama, la música. Pero también siendo consciente de todas las consecuencias que eso acarrea.
En este punto Billie deja de ser una niña a ser una adulta joven que experimenta cosas de mayor peso, y a través de éste álbum expresa algunos de los sentimientos más importantes respecto a todos los cambios que ha tenido su vida desde muy joven y en poco tiempo.
No son las letras más profundas, pero sin duda más de uno puede llegar a sentirse identificado con algunas y aunque simples, logran transmitir bastante.
In the lyrics are Billie's reflections on her love life, her growth as a person and also as an artist, narrating the mixed emotions regarding fame and the privilege of being able to dedicate herself to what she loves most, music. But she is also aware of all the consequences that this entails.
At this point Billie stops being a child and becomes a young adult who experiences more important things, and through this album she expresses some of the most important feelings regarding all the changes that her life has had since she was very young and in a short period of time.
They are not the most profound lyrics, but without a doubt more than one can feel identified with some and although simple, they manage to convey a lot.
Los vÃdeos son algo que creo que Billie pone un gran esfuerzo y dedicación para que además de ser un complemento para su música sean también un reflejo de su creatividad que puede ir más allá de lo musical, por lo que terminan siendo un trabajo genial.
Para este álbum tenemos los usuales videos musicales, narrando visualmente las historias de las canciones, pero también publicaron lyric videos o videos lÃricos que nos permiten ver las letras de una manera sencilla y clara. Honestamente creo que todos son geniales.
The videos are something that I think Billie puts a lot of effort and dedication into so that in addition to being a complement to her music, they are also a reflection of her creativity that can go beyond the musical, so they end up being great work.
For this album we have the usual music videos, visually narrating the stories of the songs, but they also published lyric videos that allow us to see the lyrics in a simple and clear way. I honestly think they're all great.
La estética recuerda mucho a la moda de Hollywood en los 60's, con un estilo clásico, elegante y sencillo. La portada del álbum a pesar de simplemente ser una foto de Billie, genera contraste con el nombre del álbum el hecho de que ella aparece llorando. De alguna manera refleja la dualidad que también se aprecia en las letras.
Es un trabajo donde se cuidaron muchos detalles lo cual dió como resultado a una pieza de arte bastante buena.
The aesthetic is very reminiscent of Hollywood fashion in the 60's, with a classic, elegant and simple style. The album cover, despite simply being a photo of Billie, contrasts with the name of the album with the fact that she appears crying. In some way it reflects the duality that is also seen in the lyrics.
It is a work where many details were taken care of which resulted in a pretty good piece of art.

Aunque canciones como Oxytocin y Lost Cause me encantan, creo que en comparación al resto se sienten un poco fuera de lugar porque son géneros distintos al resto de canciones. Sin embargo, es la única crÃtica que tengo y tampoco es algo muy relevante puesto que siguen siendo canciones geniales.
En general, este álbum es maravilloso con canciones muy pegadizas y con una voz muy hermosa. Realmente vale la pena escucharlo asà que te invito a que lo hagas✨
Although I love songs like Oxytocin and Lost Cause, I think in comparison with the rest, they feel a little out of place because they are different genres from the rest of the songs. However, it is the only criticism I have and it is not very relevant since they are still great songs.
Overall, this album is wonderful with very catchy songs and very beautiful vocals. It's really worth listening to so I invite you to do it✨
Sin duda alguna Billie cambió por completo todo y la considero una de las mejores, y este album es impresionante.
