Concierto-homenaje a Aquiles Báez en Caracas, 17/09/2022 por PukuMundo

PukuGreetings to all my pukufriends. I present you this video recorded at Altamira place in Caracas titled "Concierto-homenaje a Aquiles Báez en Caracas". PukuMundo at the streets covering this memorial concert.

For me it was a very special day but also very heartfelt, I went from moments of sadness and pain to joy and happiness for the music, I met several friends, some of whom played that day, and the auditorium was full of people who loved Aquiles very much, Many compliments and beautiful memories as well as a lot of music of the maestro and truly, in spite of being a sad moment, at the same time it was joyful at times, it was impossible not to shed tears during the various presentations of such a beautiful event that paid a beautiful tribute to such a great human being.

Aquiles was one of my mentors in music more than 20 years ago, and to be able to be here was really a bit sad due to his unexpected departure from this earthly plane, fortunately the whole concert went very well and did justice to his legacy.

Para mí fue un día muy especial pero también muy sentido, pase de momentos de tristeza y dolor a alegría y felicidad por la música, me encontré a varios amigos y amigas, algunos de los cuales tocaron ese día, y estuvo el aforo lleno de personas que, quisieron mucho a Aquiles, muchos elogios y recuerdos bonitos así como mucha música del maestro y de verdad que, a pesar de ser un momento triste, al mismo tiempo fue alegre de a ratos, fue imposible no derramar lágrimas durante las diversas presentaciones de tan bonito evento que, rindió un hermoso homenaje a tan genial ser humano.

Aquiles fue uno de mis mentores en la música hace más de 20 años, y poder estar aquí realmente fue un poco triste debido a su partida de este plano terrenal de manera inesperada, afortunadamente todo el concierto estuvo muy bien y se le hizo justicia a su legado.

Concierto-homenaje a Aquiles Báez en Caracas: director musical y mandolina, a Jorge Torres y como ensamble con Luis Freites (bajo), Vladimir Quintero (percusión), Carlos Pérez (maracas) y Javier Marín (cuatro).

Otros músicos: Cheo Hurtado (Ensamble Gurrufío), Jorge Glem (C4 Trío), Miguel Delgado Estévez (El Cuarteto), Alfredo Naranjo (El Guajeo) y Henry Martínez como invitados. Las voces de Taumanova Álvarez, Huguette Contramaestre, Corina Peña, Tabaire Díaz, Mariana Serrano, Hana Kobayashi y Andrea Paola, César y Ángel Ricardo Gómez y Eudomar Chacón. También el dúo Hel’manas, que conforman las hermanas Constanza y Fernanda Cegarra, y la madre de las artistas, la violinista María Fernanda Montero. El Dúo Wamma y las ex vocalistas del proyecto Pomarrosa: Marina Bravo y Zeneida Rodríguez.

Aquiles Báez:

Aquiles Báez (Caracas, 1 de marzo de 1964, Aachen, Alemania 12 de septiembre de 2022) fue un músico guitarrista, arreglista y compositor venezolano. El final de su vida fue mientras estaba en una gira denominada Europa Tour Septiembre 2022 con nuevos temas y tenía planeado recorrer 10 ciudades en países como España, Suiza, Francia, Alemania y Portugal.

Aquiles Báez (Caracas, March 1, 1964, Aachen, Germany September 12, 2022) was a Venezuelan musician guitarist, arranger and composer. The end of his life was while he was on a tour called Europe Tour September 2022 with new songs and had planned to tour 10 cities in countries such as Spain, Switzerland, France, Germany and Portugal.
