Greetings to the hive music community members I go by the name @respect and I will be doing a cover of a song "rahama" by kaestrings.
"Rahama" means mercy, and to me, that word carries a very deep meaning. Our God is truly a merciful God. He does not turn away from us when we are weak, when we are tired, or when we are crying for help. Instead, He listens, He understands, and He responds with compassion. That is why this song touched my heart so strongly.
I chose this song because it helps me cry out to God in my own moments of need. Sometimes life becomes heavy, and words fail me. But when I listen to this song, it becomes my prayer. It reminds me that God’s mercy is always available, and I don’t have to be perfect to receive it. He shows mercy to whom He chooses, and I believe I am among those He has chosen to love.
This song also ministers to me by reminding me of who God truly is. He is not distant or cold; He is gentle, caring, and full of compassion. When I sing or listen to this song, I feel like I am standing before Him with an open heart, asking for His touch, His guidance, and His presence in my life.
All I want is His touch, because His touch brings peace, healing, and strength. In His mercy, I find hope, and in His compassion, I find comfort. This song keeps reminding me that no matter how hard things get, I can always run back to God, the Merciful One, and He will receive me with love.
