Hoy les quiero hablar de el nuevo álbum de Skrillex, Don´t Get Too Close, el tercer álbum de estudio del artista, a solo un día de haber lanzado Quest For Fire nos sorprende con un segundo álbum llenos de colaboraciones, entre ellos Justin Bieber, Trippie Redd, Swae Lee y muchos mas!

Today I want to talk about Skrillex's new album, Don't Get Too Close, the artist's third studio album, just one day after releasing Quest For Fire surprises us with a second album full of collaborations, including Justin Bieber, Trippie Redd, Swae Lee and many more!
And without further ado, let's get down to business.
Empezamos el álbum con otra colaboración entre Skrillex y Bobby Raps para abrir el proyecto, con la misma letra que leave me like this pero con un tono mas melancólico, al final de la canción es un extracto de Alan Watts -The Dream of Life.
La pieza supuestamente trata sobre “la idea de la física cuántica del multiverso, la idea budista de la reencarnación, con una interpretación onírica. Explicando completamente la razón del sufrimiento y las alegrías de la vida.” Lo sé, es profundo xd.
We start the album with another collaboration between Skrillex and Bobby Raps to open the project, with the same lyrics as let me like this but with a more melancholic tone, at the end of the song is an excerpt from Alan Watts - The Dream of Life.
The piece is supposedly about “the quantum physics idea of the multiverse, the Buddhist idea of reincarnation, with a dreamlike interpretation. Fully explaining the reason for suffering and the joys of life.” I know, it's deep xd.
Este es el primer sencillo del álbum que nos trae una colaboración entre Skrillex, PinkPantheress & Trppie Redd con un ritmo rápido y con una letra romántica muy bien integrado siendo una de las mejores canciones de Skrillex de los últimos años.
Mi única queja es que es muy corta 😅 .

Este tema siendo el único hasta ahora con un video musical, trayendo a dos jóvenes artistas, Yung Lean & Bladee siendo una canción comercial, tranquila, sin mucho ruido, tirando un poco al género rap pero que no va dejando de lado su electrónica para hacer de ella una buena canción, disfrutable.

Real Spring es una canción escrita por Bladee y producida por Skrillex. Corbin con unas muy buenas vocales y Skrillex haciendo una muy buena pista hacen de esta canción una de las mejores.
Something that surprised me is to find Chief Keef in this project, but he did it very well, breaking the main theme of the album talking about how they should stay away from each other, or that everyone should be with someone else.
Corbin with some very good vocals and Skrillex making a very good track make this song one of the best.
3am para mi es la mejor canción del álbum toda la vibra que trae es simplemente perfecta, la letra es muy buena incluso siendo muy simple, la producción nuevamente no nos decepciona.
Las voces de Prentiss & Anthony Green son perfectas para este tema, 10/10.

A solo días de salir el álbum Skrillex no da su último sencillo del proyecto, donde nos trae la fabolosa voz de Bibi Bourelly y el mismo Sonny Moore (Skrillex), para traernos una canción muy emocional, llena de muchos sentimientos de parte de los dos artista.
Siendo honestos hay muy pocas canciones que me han hecho llorar y esta es una de ellas, es que se nota que hay muchos sentimientos y no es por sacar otra canción si no porque realmente se sienten así.

En la ultim canción de Don't Get Too Close, esta canción también culmina el proyecto QFF/DGTC de Skrillex. Después de mostrar la muestra vocal en las redes sociales y en su actuación en Second Sky, Sonny y Porter la probaron en Still Here antes de lanzar Painting Rainbows, que parece ser la composición original.
Si bien la canción consiste principalmente en la motivación de Bibi, la introducción, el final y el primer verso parecen ser un relato de un artista de graffiti arrestado y el orador interrogado por la policía en un intento de incriminarlo.
As the last track of Don’t Get Too Close, this song also caps off Skrill’s QFF/DGTC project. After teasing the vocal sample on social media and at his performance at Second Sky, Sonny and Porter would sample it in Still Here before releasing Painting Rainbows, which appears to be the original composition.
While the song mostly consists of Bibi’s motivational gassing up, the intro, outro, and first verse appears to be an account of a graffiti artist being arrested and the speaker being interrogated by the police in an attempt to incriminate him.
Mi conclusión es que no puedo elegir entre este proyecto o el anterior, los dos me parecen muy buenos, muy disfrutables y con canciones de todo tipo, en este álbum va un poco a productor más que a DJ, pero obviamente no le quita merito a ninguna canción, todos tienen sus gustos y este proyecto me parece que da a la talla de ser uno de los mejores.
Muchos se quejan del “nuevo Skrillex” pero yo sinceramente pienso que lo que haces lo haces por hacerlo o hacerlo por lo demás y ya no tienes esa pasión que tenias antes por eso es mejor empezar de cero o cambiar, como lo que hizo Sonny, a mi personalmente me gusta este nuevo Skrillex, me parece que tiene mas corazón por lo que hace y se le ve mas feliz que antes, pero obviamente extraño al viejo Skrillex, pero no me disgusta escuchar proyectos como este.
A este álbum le doy un 8/10, tiene de todo y muy bien hecho, le pondría una nota mas alta pero realmente hay unas canciones que las puedo saltar porque no me gustan tanto o algo así pero en general es muy buen álbum.
My conclusion is that I can't choose between this project or the previous one, both seem very good to me, very enjoyable and with songs of all kinds, on this album he goes more to a producer than a DJ, but obviously it doesn't detract from no song, everyone has their tastes and this project seems to me to be one of the best.
Many complain about the "new Skrillex" but I honestly think that what you do you do to do it or do it for the rest and you no longer have that passion that you had before, so it is better to start from scratch or change, like what Sonny did, I personally like this new Skrillex, it seems to me that he has more heart for what he does and he seems happier than before, but obviously I miss the old Skrillex, but I don't dislike hearing projects like this.
I give this album an 8/10, it has everything and very well done, I would give it a higher grade but there are really some songs that I can skip because I don't like them that much or something like that, but overall it's a very good album.
