Asylum 2

Last week I spoke about this album and the first 3 tunes of it.
At that time, I had listened to the album only 4 times and I had an experience with it.
Now, things have changed.
Now, I have listened to the album about 16+ times, I've saved almost all the tracks to my playlist.
Watched a bit of the making process that they dropped on YouTube, and that was amazing in itself.
And in all this, all I can say is Ren is something magical!

Well I did say I'd put my thoughts on the next 3 songs for the #threetunetuesday series made by @ablaze and all I can say is that these next 3 are possibly the best in the whole album.

- Down The Road 😈

Now this... This song was beautiful.
From the first time I listened to it, to now after hearing it multiple times, my mind is still blown at the whole concept.
We know Ren already has the ability to make ear stroking and tearjerking vocals from his earlier tracks. It was even used to start the album in Madhouse, well this was that and he added a bit of the Jamaican Blues tone he used for Wade in the Water.

What we had was the story of a man who gave his soul for music and as always, it's peak.

- Bad Company 💭

This one is really a twist. At first, from the name one might think the bad company is from the people who one keeps as friends, yet Ren twists it as now the bad company are the harmful thoughts one has.
I also think that the guitar riff on this song is possibly the best on the album, it's the first song that Chris is leading the song and not rapping.
He sang in Down the road too, playing the part of the Devil but leading on this track and we see just how talented he is too.
It's a really chill song, with a beautiful video to booth.

- Asylum 🌏

The song that shares the same name with the album. So in a way I guess you can say the song embodies the album.
In a way you'd be right. This song is so wholesome in its slow overtaking way.
Ren and Chris shares their view on the thoughts of the world, how despite the constant strives for normalcy, the people who are declared normal in the world are actually crazy and roaming free.
The world is just a free range Asylum. So it's best you embrace your own "perks" and don't beat yourself up about it but try to live with it.

This is what I gained from the song, it has a tearjerking chorus and a simple guitar strumming key.
In a way, it's probably the best song for an outro, but here it's used as something of an interlude for the album.
We'd enter the next part next week😂✨

Oh well, it is a bit late but I'm pretty sure it's still Tuesday somewhere in the world so I'll be taking it😂😂

Well, these are what I think about the next 3 songs on the Inpatient album and I've brought it here for y'all to listen to ✨ 🎶

I can't wait for Part 3 where we have the craziest song I've ever listened to in my life😂😂😭

Have you listened to the album yet?

What do you think about these songs?
