This week is a big one for NF fans as after 2 years of silence Nate is back.
"Once it's decimated, then you drop a song out of nowhere

Indeed he's dropping a new EP on the 14th and everyone's abuzz waiting and thinking with what this new list of songs are about. On my ends, to celebrate I decided to go back to listen to all his previous songs.
I've spoken about Kendrick Lamar, J Cole and Jid with their concept albums when every song is talking about a theme or story and they're all linked.
Yet NF is one of this artists that all his albums are concept albums and all the albums (so far) are about the same concept his life.
We started with Mansion in 2015 and the latest album was Hope in 2023. In it we've had 94 songs talking about either his family life, depression, mental issues and love.
All the songs are bangers, all are beautiful but as always there are some songs that although they're beautiful lose in shine to the more emotional, moving or popular tracks.
In this post, I'll bring 3 songs that I feel fall in the genre of underappreciated from NF's album Discography.
Only feat Sasha Alex Sloan
This song is from his biggest album The Search. This song where he featured Sasha is the only track that had a feature in the album and it's one that talks about the need to have someone there with you in difficult times.
The healing it brings knowing you aren't the only one in that situation.
Clearly when put in next to other huge songs in the album like Change, Let Me Go, Trauma, etc the song is sometimes missed.
Regardless, it's one that is ever beautiful ✨
Dreams
In this song NF recollects his past, the many sad days and traumatic memories filled with regret.
It's a sobering track that really just shows how pale and black NF views his life.
He talks about his past relationships with friends and insists on instead of worrying he'll just keep on being himself, (keep on doing me)
Notepad
This is a song from the very first album and one that as a writer I sometimes randomly remember, relisten and them feel deep in my soul.
In this song NF writes a letter to his best and truest friend; his notepad.
The notepad, his friend, has been with him since the beginning, helping him keep track of his emotions and has helped bring him to the spotlight he is in now.
These are my three picks for @ablaze's #threetunestuesday that may help you quarterly understand the artist Nathan John Feurstein. You have to really listen to his songs to understand him.
His songs are his life and that's what makes it real, that's the idea about his signature real music.

I am waiting! I also went to listen to all his songs again in preparation. I think I’ll do that all over again. NF is the real thing! Hahaha.
