Saludos a todos los creadores de contenido en Hive y especialmente a la comunidad de Music. El día de hoy les traigo un material videográfico que grabé en la Casa de la Cultura "Rafael Bolívar Coronado" de Villa de Cura. Donde participaron las cátedras de percusión, dirigida por el profesor Jesuso Salvatierra, y la de flauta, por el profesor Robert Carrasquel, con un ritmo muy pegajoso titulado el calipso. Esta presentación era especialmente para todas esas madres, espero que les guste.

Greetings to all content creators on Hive and especially to the Music community. Today I bring you a videographic material that I recorded at the "Rafael Bolívar Coronado" House of Culture in Villa de Cura. Where the percussion chairs, directed by Professor Jesuso Salvatierra, and the flute chair, by Professor Robert Carrasquel, participated with a very catchy rhythm titled calypso. This presentation was especially for all those mothers, I hope you like it.
Para ponerlos un poco en contexto, tras bastidores siempre hay mucha expectativa antes de que empiece la música. Llegué temprano al espacio para ver cómo los muchachos se preparaban y ensayaban los últimos detalles. Es increíble ver el compromiso de estos jóvenes; la Casa de la Cultura se llenó de una energía muy bonita desde temprano. El calipso es un ritmo caribeño que exige muchísima precisión, y ver cómo se acoplaban las flautas con el golpe fuerte y constante de la percusión fue una experiencia magnífica. Los profesores Jesús y Robert han hecho un trabajo impecable guiando este talento.
To put you a bit into context, behind the scenes there is always a lot of expectation before the music starts. I arrived early at the venue to see how the youths were preparing and rehearsing the last details. It is incredible to see the commitment of these young people; the House of Culture was filled with a very beautiful energy from early on. Calypso is a Caribbean rhythm that demands a lot of precision, and seeing how the flutes coupled with the strong and constant beat of the percussion was a magnificent experience. Professors Jesús and Robert have done an impeccable job guiding this talent.
Ensayos generales en los espacios de la Casa de la Cultura / Rehearsals at the House of Culture
Cuando llegó el momento de iniciar la presentación para homenajear a las madres, los nervios quedaron atrás. Desde las primeras notas de las flautas y el arranque de los tambores, el ambiente se transformó por completo. El ritmo del calipso is tan contagioso que era imposible quedarse quieto en el asiento; muchas de las madres presentes no tardaron en sonreír y seguir el compás con las manos. Hubo algunos detalles típicos del directo con la acústica del salón, pero la pasión de los muchachos superó cualquier reto técnico y la presentación salió espectacular.
When the time came to start the presentation to honor the mothers, the nerves were left behind. From the first notes of the flutes and the start of the drums, the atmosphere was completely transformed. The rhythm of calypso is so contagious that it was impossible to sit still in the seat; many of the mothers present were quick to smile and follow the beat with their hands. There were some typical live details with the acoustics of the room, but the passion of the youths overcame any technical challenge and the presentation turned out spectacular.

Ver la cara de felicidad de las madres y el orgullo de los profesores al terminar la pieza fue, sin duda, la mejor recompensa de la jornada. Al final, pudimos compartir un rato, felicitar a los músicos y tomar algunas impresiones de este bonito evento cultural. Me alegra mucho poder registrar y compartir el talento local que se gesta en nuestra tierra.

Seeing the happy faces of the mothers and the pride of the teachers at the end of the piece was, without a doubt, the best reward of the day. In the end, we were able to share a while, congratulate the musicians, and get some impressions of this beautiful cultural event. I am very glad to be able to record and share the local talent that is brewed in our land.

For some reason, I could not play the video. I think the 3Speak server is currently down. But then, I understand what it takes to prepare people of that age for a musical performance of this kind. I appreciate the directors and all those who helped prepare them, and the youth too. It must have taken lots of practice for them to perform that well.

Sí es un ritmo bien alegre y activo para poner a bailar a cualquiera. En realidad, el Calipso tiene una raíz afrocaribeña muy fuerte por la percusión
Pero que cosa tan bella esta!!! Hace unos meses me propusieron ser profesora de niños y adolescentes, pero realmente no me veo ejerciendo en esto, ver esos niños tocando da mucha alegria y ver el trabajo ajeno con esos niños es tan bonito. Por mas conciertos llenos de alegría
