Hi,

This is a song called 'Alter Egos' written a few weeks ago, im still working on it but this is how it sounds currently.

Recorded at ny friends house.

The grave stone in the picture is the first present he ever bought his wife.

Lyrics:

They talk but they don’t know
They give but they don’t show
They speak of love that doesn’t grow
They fear being alone
They’ll run from the unknown
They’ll take our hearts and turn them into stone
They bombard us with strict orders
They tighten up the borders
They take all that is good and burn them at the alters
They darken up the hallway
They lock up all the doors
They say to find your way
But they’ve done this all
Before
So what’s it all been for, i don’t know
I don’t understand a word they say
I’m trapped inside this cage
And my heart will always stay, a million miles away
They talk but they don’t know
They give but never show
And when they speak of love
They’ll never let it grow

So, when im singing 'they do this, or that etc' im talking about the 'deamons' that live within, not an external sourse.
