I am sure you never heard of Indian classical, which used to be ore of musical instrument like sitar, or tabla. It does helps in peace of mind. Talking about other classical music then I find them more meaningful than latest hip-hop or raps or jazz..
I've heard of the sitar and have heard it played. It's not a bad sound at all, but looks hard to play, all that tapping of those strings.
I agree with you, classical music is often far better than much of the modern music.
