Playing around with an accidental glitch sound in a vlog by @pixiepost - can I make something musical and/or interesting with it?
It may have been accidental, it may have been unexpected, it may sound like noise to some people - but I say NO - I'm going to take that noisy glitch and see what I can do with it!

And hats off to @pixiepost for being super real in her videos and leaving the glitch in. I've made her a 50% beneficiary on this post as it couldn't have happened without her!
I'm already working on part 2, trying to make some other useful sounds/instruments from the same glitch so watch this space!
The glitch sound is also the inspiration (and sound source) for the new "glitch mode" in my live radio shows. If you are in the Twitch channel you can simply type !glitch to activate glitch mode!

haha thanks it was a bit of a random idea and it turned out to be easier than expected to make something useful (check out part 2 which I've just posted!)
It just shows how crazy powerful modern DAWs are (though I still think I could do something only these lines on the modular too - though that's pretty powerful as well!)

Interesting glitch! The coolest sounds come from unexpected places.
Indeed - sound design is a vast world - sometimes I get heavy into it, other times I use only slightly tweaked presets - it's whatever a) inspires and b) fits the music I'm trying to create.

I remember hearing it during the live show but it looks like a decent amount of work to crop out the sound properly.
Ah yes I remember you from the Twitch channel in the live show - it wasn't super hard actually - the software makes it pretty easy! It was probably harder to do the setup of the BOT for the live show - my streaming setup is getting out of hand complicated!
