disco iconico Electric Ladyland.
Espero disfruten!

Hello Hive music community!
I'm here to share with you a song that I've been playing all week and that I ended up putting together
first in live looping format and then as I wanted to make it sound a little bit better I recorded it on the pc and I ended up with this
punky version.
I think that people who like rock, especially from the '60s and '70s, are going to know this song because of THE VERSION that the great Jimmy Hendrix did in the iconic album
the iconic Electric Ladyland album. And without a doubt he took the song much higher than the original recorded by Bob Dylan in his album John Lesley Harding. Even Dylan himself has said that he liked Hendrix's version so much, that since he died he plays it in his own way as a tribute.
Regarding my version, I think the correct word would be: Rustic.
I simply concentrated on doing the base and singing on top of it.
I'm still not at all happy with the way I sang it, but I did manage to break away a little from both the original and Hendrix versions.
I also committed the sin of overprocessing the voice a lot and it didn't turn out exactly as I wanted it to. But these are issues that make the sound experimentation and that's why I wanted to record this version in this way... Surely in a few weeks I will make a live looping recording to compare.
So the video is an excuse to get this song out of my mind for a few days and then take it up again. I will surely incorporate it to my live looping repertoire.
Hope you enjoy!
