Performing with Jethro Tull in Germany

Hivers!

What a crazy weekend it was. After a few days "off" to get some much needed rest, we drove north of Berlin to Marienwerder where we would perform with Jethro Tull at the Inselleuchten festival! Ian Anderson was an early inspiration for our group, so sharing the stage with them was something we had been looking forward to all year!

Yes, Europe is in the midst of a serious heatwave. And YES - it was an absolute Sauna on the stage, but that wasn't going to stop us from putting in our best show. From the moment we took the stage, for one our we gave it everything we could! Jumping, dancing, singing, clapping. It was a brilliant experience!

After the show we had the chance to sit with Ian and the rest of the band for a while. We told him that we were thankful that he had inspired so many young musicians like us to break out of the box and push the boundaries of music. Our style of Progressive Folk has become more so after listening to their music, particularly after performing for years. Indeed that is something interesting, how music can be heard differently as your life and perspective changes.

Even at 75 years old, Ian Anderson still puts on a great show! He's enthusiastic to keep writing music and keep up his journey with Jethro Tull, and from what we could tell, they wont be stopping any time soon! If you get a chance to see them, we would highly recommend it as their show is special.
