Ok - that is New Wave @w74 - but from the good side combining synthy and melodic sounds in my view - I LOVE New Order - think I played Blue Monday 987 times in my DJ life even during Techno sessions - could be integrated perfectly as of their sound. Maybe our music brits can share their view as well @steevc @slobberchops and others.

I consider them even more influential as Depeche Mode - considered rock band they pumped with Blue Monday which is to me one of the best ever songs ever! They are new wave to me combining many genres.
Their England football hymn
Even being a German (and you know what that means in foorball) I fell in love with their song for the English football team back in 1990 - simply love it - I would love we have similar entertaining sounds - teh end "Playing for England, we are playing / singing this song is a perfect arrangement!

Wer sich (wie ich) dem Radio verschrieben hat, der muss oder, besser, sollte sich mit den verschiedensten Musikgenres arrangieren können. Wenn er dazu nicht bereit ist, nutzt er das falsche Medium oder vergeudet die Hälfte des Tages mit der Suche nach anderen Sendern. Ich würde New Order zwar nicht zu Kaffee und Kuchen einladen, ertrage sie allerdings mit mehr Fassung als den weinerlichen Jammersack, der mir (unterstützt von schlechter Musik) nahezu nicht enden wollende drei Minuten sein Leid mit einer gewissen Monika schildert, die offenbar nicht so funktioniert, wie er es sich erträumt.

Mit den eingestreuten Vornamen hat es eine etwas verschrobene Bewandtnis von meiner Seite aus. Ich würfle die Zuteilung von Vornamen stündlich neu aus, was dazu führen kann, dass meine Frau sich am Morgen als Roswitha und am Nachmittag als Penelope neu entdecken darf. Monika kann für die komplette Damenwelt genutzt werden – somit auch für den kroatischen Schnulzenbarden, der nicht müde zu werden scheint, mir mitzuteilen, dass es weder mit Selma, Inge, Renata noch Pauline geklappt hat.
