A warm greeting to everyone in this beautiful #Music community. I am pleased to share my trumpet performance of «There Will Never Be Another You», a Jazz standard by Harry Warren and Mack Gordon from 1942 for the movie Iceland. I have had the opportunity to listen to many versions, among which I want to highlight those by Arturo Sandoval, Chet Baker, Stan Getz, Frank Sinatra, and Ella Fitzgerald. The lyrics are an emotional farewell filled with nostalgia, acceptance, gratitude, and acknowledging that the person it addresses is unique and irreplaceable in one's life. It has a 32-bar AABA form with II–V–I cadences, a diatonic melody with lyrical beauty. This piece has a traditional swing style within a 4/4 time signature, with occasional syncopation. The original key is Eb Major, but in my case, I play it in F Major.

Tengo el agrado de compartir mi interpretación con la trompeta de «There Will Never Be Another You», un estándar del Jazz por Harry Warren y Mack Gordon en 1942 para la película Iceland. He tenido la oportunidad de escuchar muchas versiones, entre las cuales quiero destacar las de Arturo Sandoval, Chet Baker, Stan Getz, Frank Sinatra y Ella Fitzgerald. La letra es una despedida emotiva cargada de nostalgia, aceptación, gratitud y que reconoce que la persona a la que se dirige es única e irrepetible en su vida. Tiene una forma AABA de 32 compases con cadencias II–V–I, una melodía diatónica con una belleza lirica. Esta pieza tiene un estilo swing tradicional dentro de una cifra indicadora de compas de 4/4, y con un ritmo sincopado ocasional. La tonalidad Original es de Eb Mayor, en mi caso la interpreto en F mayor.
The purpose of life is to be happy, and music is a powerful catalyst for our emotions. It accompanies us both in happy moments and during emotional lows. Recently, I’ve had experiences that have taken me out of the rhythm of everyday life. Fortunately, the music I’ve listened to in these days has been comforting and has helped me experience peace, calm, and tranquility. I love jazz because it breaks away from the traditional structure and dares to do things we don’t expect. It’s like running with your heart while the air hits your face and caresses your soul. On that path, we make decisions that break the monotony and find sounds that soothe us, move us, and make us live extraordinary experiences. Music helps us discover the exceptional in the everyday. El propósito de la vida es ser feliz, y la música es un poderoso catalizador de nuestras emociones. Ella nos acompaña tanto en los momentos felices como en los bajones emocionales. Well I really enjoyed that. Nicely played. You punctuated each note very well, excellent breathe control and enough for the longer sustained note at the end. I like the jazzy feel especially because between the age of 11 and 16 I used to play the trumpet so I know what it takes to have to tighten those lips for the higher notes. It certainly takes a lot of practice and dedication. I read the lyrics of the song after and I think all of at some point in our life could relate to that. So I really enjoyed the whole feel of that song and your performance of it on the trumpet, well done! My best friend who also plays the trumpet tries to make fun of me saying I have now gone to the dark side because I now play the saxophone. There are some funny fact behind that one, but we do have a cool trumpet and Sax play now and again. The last 12 day's I have been here, I have been on a cool journey looking for artists who stand out to me, who I might just do a collaboration with at some point. I have a community idea in mind which won't happen over night but I think it would bring a really cool vibe. You are booked marked as my Trumpet contact now bro, so it's a pleasure to meet you. Keep doing you to because every single one of us are diamonds shaped in our own unique way, but I think secretly some choose to shine brighter than others once they are more at peace within themselves.
