Lágrimas negras
Today I continue with the challenge launched by the great Venezuelan musician Gonzalo Grau from his social networks, where he invites all salsa singers and musicians to improvise on the chorus of the most emblematic songs of the genre. Today it is the turn of one of the most representative songs of Cuban music, such as this bolero-son "Lágrimas Negras", by the great Miguel Matamoros.
This challenge is due to the fact that it is precisely in this part of the song where musicians and singers must show their abilities to improvise and to musically express themselves. This is what is usually called "soneo" and is what is sought to highlight in this #corochallenge.

Hoy continúo con el reto lanzado por el gran músico venezolano Gonzalo Grau desde sus redes sociales, donde reta a todos los cantantes y músicos de la salsa a improvisar sobre el coro de las canciones más emblemáticas del género. Hoy le toca el turno a uno de los temas más representativos de la música cubana, como lo es este bolero-son “Lágrimas Negras”, del gran Miguel Matamoros.
Este reto obedece al hecho de que es precisamente en esta parte de la canción donde los músicos y cantantes deben mostrar sus habilidades para improvisar y descargar musicalmente. A esto es lo que se suele llamar “soneo” y es lo que se busca resaltar en este #corochallenge.
