Jacob Schmitt was a German composer and piano teacher who worked in Hamburg.
Schmitt composed over 330 works mainly for piano, including numerous sonatinas, divertissements, nocturnes, and other small musical pieces. I have found this nocturne in an old book that I have got, and I did not find any other interpretation of this piece on the internet. So here it comes. Enjoy the peace that gives this nocturne.
