You know from living in site I have a lot of resourcefulness should shit really happen. Certainly if we lost fuel. It's just everything is so spread out in Australia that we can't just cycle down the tow path and get to Sainsbury's easily! I have bought an electric bike I totally adore (it's also hilly here) but it's still take me two hours to get to work on a dangerous highway. Even to the next town where my mum is, twenty minutes to drive, the path is mostly a gravel track that often diverts in off-road territory. If they only spent more money on connecting twons via cycle routes!!
