This is so true. We learn from everyone we have been with. Repeating the same patterns is lunacy. When I met my husband we had been in previous relationships - some awful, some special. They'd taught us both a lot. We knew we wanted to work at this one, even if we came with baggage. Funny, I was getting used to the idea I would be on my own forever and then I met him. Twenty four years later 😆
Well, that does give hope. And I’m truly glad for you. Sometimes I also think I’ll end up on my own forever… but I try not to dwell on it too much. Haha…
