Sundays just happens to be the day of the week I get to slip away from bustles and hustles. Unlike other days which are accompanied with one task, chore and like, Sundays are very much different.
It's the only day that guarantees an escape from life's chaos while Saturdays are quite the opposite, packed with loads and loads of strenuous activities even more than the working days.

I tend to implement a minimalist lifestyle in certain areas of my life as I frown upon clutter and unnecessary matter that tends to take up my space. I stick to not much and not less. Nor perfect either.
Just ok..... moderate. Keeping it all simple.
A breakaway from the both nosy and noisy world for me, comes from simple activities that never ceases to calm my soul, free my mind, keep me relaxed and of course, leave a smile on my face. And Sundays are the days I get to engage in such soothing ventures.
A stroll of five minutes at the minimum within my neighbourhood whenever the sun begins to set, is one of my top pastimes which does the trick.
I find it quite therapeutic just walking down the streets and walkways, heading at both rights and lefts as I walk past people; adults and children doing whatever they deem fit, beautiful plants and flowers that always fascinates me, animals wandering about and well-structured buildings, standing all tall and elegant.

And that right above is my favourite spot in the neighborhood, exactly ten minutes away from my house. The moment I get there, I get on the swing set and just sit still. Breathing. Staring into space. Thinking nothing. Embracing the silence and serenity it offers.
Another activity that has a calming effect on me is listening to music. Mind you, I have no favourite artist, album or genre. I listen to literally all music genres as long as its lyrics speaks to me. All I need to do is lay in bed with my headset or earbuds plugged in as I either hum and sing along or just take it in quietly.
Lest I forget, my Sundays doesn't end without an afternoon nap which has a way of relieving my bones, recharging my brain and body and leaves me feeling refreshed and all set to dive into the new week and what it brings forth.
Images are mine.

Thank you 😊
Hey there!
We are delighted that you have discovered our community, and we look forward to seeing you around:)
We trust that you have seen our Introduction, Content Ideas & Posting Guidelines, which could be a great tool for the inspiration of content.
There's always some activity in the community, namely, our weekly publication called #KISS (an acronym for our community motto, Keep It Simple & Smart), presents you with blog ideas for the week, to boost community activities.
A #KISS publication is always pinned on the community's feed.
Secondly, we have our Daily/Weekly Theme topics, where you can find the active week, however, you are free to present any minimalist-focused post at any time, as long as it is original content.
We do prefer original photos over sourced photos from the internet, and we find relevant photos to conceptualise your stories more interesting.
Welcome again, and see you around the community.
Heyooo 🥰 ..... I'm glad I popped in as well.
I've gone through the highlighted post above and honestly, I found it quite inspiring. It will surely be my go-to whenever I feel stuck.
I will be looking forward to take part in the #kiss, weekly themes and #slowlivingsunday.
But @minimalistliving I have a question though. Regarding the images, I saw a rule about only using pictures that has never been posted in the Blockchain before. So I can't repost my original images?
Nap, I don't joke with it but I've been struggling with it lately due to the fact that I want to feel the day and if I get to surrender to sleep, I would see myself in the night. Lol😂
Chai ........... A two edged sword for you. It's either day or night 😅
Thanks for popping in
Apart from being a free day from work, Sundays just hits differently, the positive energy and all. Nice perspective! Thank you for sharing
You can say that again......... thanks for popping in 🤭
