When you do not put yourself into perspective to assess your well-being, you also will not have the mindset to consider "fixing what's broken" simply because you do not know what is broken.

I can't remember the song, but it's a popular one that says we should come out of ourselves and look at ourself. That's a step to self-awareness, having an unbiased view of yourself as if from someone else's eyes.

If you saw yourself would you like you? Would you like how you're living? Like you said, we need to access ourselves frequently to thrive.
