She was a dream—I am certain of it. Miraculously, she remained digitally preserved in my camera’s memory, yet I am not sure when it happened, nor what I was doing at the time. Because after those photos, I never saw her again. Did she fly away? Did the wind carry her off? Did she leap into the sea, only to float up toward the sky and vanish?
