Penelope --- Eng/Esp

Every beginning of the year I do a session for Alejandra, it's already a thing of tradition. We had a year in between that we could not meet, a minor detail having to wait because of the pandemic. More valuable things have been lost. Finally we were able to see each other last Wednesday on the rocks that support the Morro fortress. There was wonderful evening light, and Alejandra wore this dress from the Spanish ballet that she wore some time ago, it served wonders for the melancholic scene that was posed on that warm afternoon. It's fantastic to see her evolve in her movements while I'm portraying her. The final photo is the one that ends the seriousness and drama of Penelope as she waits for the return of her Ulysses.

Thanks for the opportunity!

That is the perfect dress!

It is indeed! I would prefer a fully red, but black fits perfectly with drama and the Penelope story

The location is amazing! Aren't those rocks sharp? She was standing there bare footed :D

Oh no, the rocks are weathered, even though the textures look pretty sharp. She would have protested further, if that had been the case. However, I don't like to put my models in uncomfortable situations because that shows later in the photos. Thanks for commenting!
