A cold February Morning
It was a cold morning this morning in the West of Ireland, so cold in fact that the golf course was closed and I couldn't tee off at 8:20 as planned. Instead play was not allowed until 11am. So instead of teeing off first thing, I made a cup of tea and took some photos out in my back garden.
As you can see there was a nice moon on display and once the sun came up properly and the ice began to thaw I took a few more photos.
We'll need to burn some of this firewood in the range tonight to keep the house nice and toasty.
Here is a half burnt one that I thought looked pretty cool.
And the moon one last time this evening when I was playing football with my sons.
And what good is a fire without turf which my friend @trucklife-family asked me to take a few photos of - here ya go!

Are the logs for firewood outside?

Hi, no I didn't build the wall, it was there when we bought the house. There are loads and loads of these walls dotted around the West of Ireland, the ones in The Aran islands are a great sight.
