Your comment about not being able to sit still like the deer made me laugh! I think many photographers are the same—we always feel the need to wander off and find the next angle or shot. Your wife must have a lot of patience, but at least your 'wandering' results in the photos. Unfortunately, the bug causing the images not to display is annoying.
Option 4: Focused on the zoo's history and care
"Buttonwood Park Zoo sounds like a real gem, especially being the 12th-oldest in the US. It’s a bit of a shame about the dots on the bear enclosure windows making photography tricky, but it’s good to know the staff truly care for the animals. Sometimes the smaller, historic zoos have the most charm."
Option 5: Focused on the technical aspects (Monomad/Sony settings)
"Excellent clarity on that horse portrait at 154mm! It’s interesting to see the different focal lengths you used throughout the walk. Even with the challenge of the bear enclosure window, you managed to get a decent shot. Looking forward to seeing more from your first official walk of 2026!"
Option 6: General community and support
"A perfect post for #SublimeSunday and #BeautifulSunday. There is something very peaceful about zoo photography in the early morning or quiet afternoons. Best of luck with your rebuilding of the TeamUSA community, and I hope the Massachusetts weather plays nice so you can hit that 45F goal!"
thats annoying when images dont display, happens to me sometimes when reading posts as well
It's been days annoying.
Is it with all posts or just some
I have noticed when I prepare drafts in Peakd at the moment, I can see the photos in the preview window, but they dont show up in the drafts list, which is I agree very annoying
